She had been alone for a while, ever since she had escaped from that forsaken place almost a year ago. She was having a bit of a hard time, she had no knowledge of how to survive out here on her own, having been raised with the two leggers. She had so far been surviving on whatever she could catch. Mice, the occasional rabbit and some birds. Currently she was relaxing beside a stream she had found, it seemed like a safe place for the moment anyway. With a sigh she rested her chin on her paws.

Dae padded along the game trail he had found, tongue lulled from his mouth and a hop in his step.
He was in a great mood--full belly, he had just finished up a bath of sorts in a river, and walking along one of the branches of the river he had just been in. The game trail was moist from previous rains they had recently had, so his paws sunk slightly and left perfect pawprints with each step.
Soon, he came across a widened stream--and what looked to be another wolf. Blinking, the male smiled at her and pounced up to her, wagging his tail in a friendly manner. "Hello there! Why do you look so sad?"

She had started to doze off as she rested until she heard the voice of another, causing her to nearly jump out of her skin. Springing to her feet she backed up slightly, her ears pressing back against her head.
"W-who are you...what do you want...?" Her teeth bared slightly as she spoke, a sign of her unsurity

"Oh! I'm sorry..I didn't mean to scare you," he chimed, lowering his head slightly when he noticed how scared she was.
"I was just passing through..I'm sorry," Dae backed away a little, seeing the bared teeth and insecure composure of the female.
"W..what's around your neck?" He asked, curiosity getting the best of him as he slowly inched closer, used to wolves being quite nice to him.

She backed up more, but her rear soon hit a tree. with the slight clink of a chain she sat quickly, still keeping a close eye on the other wolf. "It....Its something my m-master put on me..." Her ears were still back, but she no longer bared her teeth as she spoke.

Dae gave a little wag of his tail as she spoke, giving a small smile to try and comfort her as best he could manage.
"Master? You had those too?" He perked up, lifting his head slightly to blink at the other wolf, moving to sit and scoot a bit closer to her on his rear, trying to keep low and not scare her at all. "What's your name?"
