So these are my questions to you: How often do you purchase? Whenever I want. (within reason)
How often would you buy if you could? Right now. Then tomorrow, when the mall opens. I'd buy it. The whole mall. Then a champagne Dodge Ram, a 500cc Shadow, a sphinx kitten, and a Gucci purse. Next day, prolly just a hamburger. So, I'd say, big purchase about every other day.
At what point is it considered/do you feel that it's spoiling yourself? Spoiled? What's that?
Does it ever make you feel selfish buying yourself expensive things even though you may have worked very hard to get them? Selfish...? I don't understand that word... :/
Got thoughts on my thoughts? I agree with the taking small steps that The World Withing suggested. You sound like a responsible lady, bills first. You should practice feeling that you deserve the nice things you work for, because you do! My upbringing was... strict, and I always felt like I didn't deserve things. That's not a good feeling. Let go of it.
I've got my own rules too, bills, savings, repairs, food and stuff first. If a friend needs something, they come first, I have enough stuff. But after that, the rest is mine to squander. I don't work 40 hrs a week to sit at home on my thumbs.
Also, "expensive" is a relative term. For some people, it is a finite amount, but for me it's not. It's about value. $50 for a hamburger = expensive. $50 for a hamburger and an outfit = cheap. That's probably something that might make me feel a bit physically ill, WASTING money on something that is overpriced. Even if I was disgustingly rich. If it ain't reasonable, I don't want it.

RudyMaye @Kyttyee I like your system of having a set amount of money that is strictly yours to play with (after bills and what not). I may test drive that. $400 Seems like alot to play around with (for me at least) but I like your way of thinking. ^^ Lordie knows I'm a list maker. Bills, groceries, books, websites, ect, ect, ect. I have many. Haha yeah, it works really well for me XD And yeah, I've got a steady and pretty nice job, so $400 is pretty reasonable for me XD I don't usually even come close to that amount, so I definitely have plenty to splurge on large items once in awhile XD

How often do you purchase? I would say about every week for little things, and every month for bigger things like dresses.
How often would you buy if you could? Every single day *.* I looooove shopping.
At what point is it considered/do you feel that it's spoiling yourself? Hmmm I would say when I dont need it, thats spoiling myself I guess, I dunno actually XD ya got me there. Does it ever make you feel selfish buying yourself expensive things even though you may have worked very hard to get them? I never feel selfish, thats probobly a bad thing, but hey I still buy other people nice gifts.
