k, i am in another guild and we are having a themed group entry. Each of us were given a song title and we have to do an avi around the song. My song was Owl City's Fireflies. Here is my avi but i don't know what to do for the ground. I am not loving the moon/puddle thing, its stoopid. Any suggestions? It just needs something, preferrably blueish for the bottom but i am at a loss. Halp meh! DX

You do realize that that song is about falling asleep on acid. That's beside the point, though. I don't know what you should do. Leave it blank, perhaps?

Have you tried the Nartian Rock star base? I know it isn't blue, but perhaps if you chose blue shoes... oh wait that's what you have. Hmm... sorry.

I don't get the acid reference at all. My interpretation is probably more similar to yours, Rainy.
After watching the music video with all the toys, I can't help but to think he's referring to his childhood through this song. I think he's thinking back to the magic and wonder of his childhood that now seems to be escaping him. "I'd like to make myself believe that planet Earth turns slowly." He wishes that time would not go by so quickly so he would have more time to enjoy the simple and innocent things in life. He talks about keeping the fire flies in jar which I think refers to some of his childhood memories and traits that he doesn't want to let go. At the end of the music video, he turns off the "magic" button along with everything else going on in the room, then looks down in a depressed fashion. Which concludes my idea of him missing his childhood. So it's a sad song.
And apparently Adam Young has insomnia (Wikipedia). So I'm sure that adds into the whole thing.
Of course, this is exactly how I've been feeling lately, and I tend to get my feelings mixed into songs that may not have been purposely expressed.
So I'm feeling the avatar you're wearing now may make more sense.

i think when sir says 'acid' he means the drug, or so i understand XD
anyhow, i like your innocent avie more than the one in the arena.

Now when it comes to avatars - I like the one in the arena now better, but when it comes to interpretation, I like your current avatar. o.o Oh no!

I thought the sing was about insomnia too.
Drug induced or not, idk.
