Marty Nozz I still can't throw my haymakers consistently. I do alright though, cause I always work behind my jab. I love the haymaker motions, all I used for training was the bag, mostly because I don't care about agility, it doesn't help me out. and yeah, haymaker central, scoring about 75 in the first match with a tko each time, that is with a custom char mind you. lol, your body looks so funny if your going after all the belts and defending them at the same time. I went up to light heavy for my heaviest matchs, before I was a plump fat guy, after image was alot skinnier with some abs, it was just so drastic from being over 30.

Angel_Abaddon Pride FC is imo the best MMA game out there. Yep. I know Capcom got the rights to make the games, but they didn't release it here. Just the one from THQ. That game owns. I'd like to see Capcom release a sequel here, though, with SF characters as super-secret unlockables (Hugo? Alex? Sagat! ZANGIEF!?!? ah hell, I'd be happy to see Dan get his a** kicked by Vanderlei Silva in that game. Overkill characters would probably be people like Oro or Akuma.)

But now, it's crap. The graphics aren't what they can be, they have fallen off the story line, and it's just too damn bloody for anyone to actually produce. I will admit though, it does have those breaks where you break a board or something...that is unique. the best fighting game that I have to know about is the old Rival Schools/ Project Justice. It had a unique storyline with a vast stream of characters, and even a small RPG way. I wish they redid it though.

I got my a** whipped in the video arcade!
I found the "Fist of the Northstar" game, the one that had the pads that swing out for you to pucnh. That game kicked my butt. I was doing fine until I had to throw 50 punches in 10 seconds! Almost made it.
Then there was Virtual Boxing. Motion sensors follow your movements as you duck and weave from the punches on screen. The gloves were a bit heavy, but I did burn about 75 cal. It measured calories burned!
On to Blade of Honor, this game rocked my socks. You have a sword handle with a sensor on it. Press a pedal at your feet to attack, don't press to defend. Your sword strokes register on the the on-screen oppoents!
Screw the gym, I'm heading for the arcade!

Just got dynasty warriors 5, rockin game! I love the huge body count and the fact its going to take me ages to complete it all.
What are peoples thoughts on the educational value of computer games? There's a lot of history I now know that is purely due to computer games, european history (medievel to WW2), japanese history (which clan do you identify with?), chinese myths and legends and such

(A Dragon Installed Badguy can easily take down any character against him ... )and the best 3d one would be the Soul Calibur series ... (I usually use Kilik for range or Talim for speedy combos ) Ha, actually, I also liked Mark of the Wolves a lot ... Hotaru is cute and Terry's Buster Wolf is cool !Anyway, there are also fun but relatively unknown ones like Queen of Hearts 2001 Party Breaker (a doujin fighting game with cute female characters) and Melty Blood (a doujin fighting game based on Tsukihime, with vampires and other characters with supernatural powers) mrgreen

ijust picked up fight club today and its great unfourtanatly i suck at most fighting games so this one is no different i falled the first fight like five times
