I'll soon be moving into an apartment, and I was wondering, for the boxes you have to sign for (like getting dolls and stuff o 3o.) do they bring the box straight to your apartment? I thought it would be rather weird if they left it at the lil mailbox thing.

I just want to be sure so I know what to expect.

I'm not sure if it's the same for every complex, I just know how mine does it.

All the of the tenants' packages are brought to the main office in my apartment complex.
So I end up picking them up there when the manager calls to notify me.

They're suppose to bring them to you. I got my doll in today and the guy brought it right to the door. heart

they try to bring it to your door. fedex does at least. sometimes the mailman does, sometimes the mailman leaves it at my door (cause im the only room on my branch) or manages to stuff it in my mailbox. i havent ever had an issue with it. if its too large they just hold it at the post office.

[Staying on topic] I didn't have to sign for my doll, and he had a huge box. Maybe it depended on the company used? I live in a house (kinda) though, so I can't help.

Package delivery depends on where you live, and your apartment complex policies. Some complexes will sign for your packages, others have big lock boxes where the mailman puts the packages, then sticks the key in your mailbox. Others will come to your door.

And others will leave the box in the hallway where all of the mailboxes are if you don't have any kind of lockbox or lobby or person to sign for it. My first apartment in Chicago was like that, kinda scary but all of my neighbors were cool.
