DRAGON
---------------------------
Any adult green dragon may rise, without needing to ask. The only thing asked is that only one green dragon rise at a time during the week. Once a green is caught, please send us a PM so we may lock the thread. After that, the next green wishing to rise may go about their business. How you run a flight is up to you- you may alert the winner beforehand, or choose your winner at the end of the flight. It's totally up to you!

But here are some important things to know:

- If a rider does not prefer the sexuality of the opposite person in the flight, THEY DO NOT NEED TO MATE. However! They do need a stand in! And on hand- right as the flight concludes. It can be dangerous, but it is commonplace among riders. A stand in character may be another IC personage, or a NPC. But each rider must have another match, and they *must* be notified ahead of time.

- Same-sex flights are commonplace in the Weyr. There is no special instance with them, and are not surprising- except to those not living in the weyr.

- Absolutely no forced/explicit sexual relationships. This goes against gaia's terms and conditions.

- A rider is not married to the person their dragon flies. They may not even be friends.

Green dragons may be flown by any color.
Gold dragons may be flown only by bronzes, and rarely, by browns.

Bronze dragons are almost always heterosexual, barring one or two incidents which must be first approved.
Gold dragons are always heterosexual.

Dragons themselves are always heterosexual.

Please title your flight something like, "(Dragon'sname)'s Rising [Green: Open]" If your flight is not an open flight (IE. You only wish a certain few dragons to try at her, please put closed. A dragon does typically need more then one dragon to go after her though. Closed will also mark an ended thread.

Firelizard
---------------------------

Firelizards may only rise when breeding slots are opened. Golds are only available through raffle. When dragons mate, the likely hood of their colors is determined by their partner:

Greens have the propensity for burying their eggs in silly places- so most of their babies do not live.

Green/blue - Mostly stillborn, a few greens/blues.
Green/Brown- Moderately stillborn, more blues then greens, and one or two browns.
Green/Bronze- Occasionally stillborn, many blues and browns, rarely bronzes.

Golds are very able to care for their eggs. Almost never are their babies stillborn.

Gold/Bronze- Full clutch. The stronger and longer the flight, the more bronzes and chances for a gold egg.
Gold/Brown- Very rare. Sometimes results in unhealthy babies- many browns, a few bronzes.
