What made you choose your Japanese Gaia name?

I choose my Gaia name from MR.BRAIN. Kimura Takuya character name Ryusuke Tsukumo. I love that show.

I chose the Japanese version of my name (光田高地 こうだ・たかち) just because of the correlation with the English version of it. I've gone into the details in another thread before.

I wanted to use a Japanese username, but I like Stasi too much. However, I do have two mules with Japanese names.

Tsukamoto Akina: Her last name is from an anime/manga called School Rumble ( though the mangaka got the name from a train station ). And I love the name Akina 'cause it has "aki" in it which, of course, means "autumn". Autumn's the time of year I was born and it's my favorite season.

Minoru Yoshikuni ( Yoshikuni Minoru ): His last name came from this Japanese name generator that I'd found. His first name is from a Lucky Star character who was played by himself. xD Shiraishi Minoru.

well, I love night. It's my favorite time of the day. well, the word for night, yoru,夜 just seemed boring. I thought of the word for moon tsuki月 but that is a more common name. Then I thought of words like mangetsu満月(fullmoon) mikadsuki三日月(cressent moon) and yozora夜空 meaning night sky and hoshi星 meaning star even 流星ryuusei meteor and they all just sounded weird so then I came across the word Seiza 星座 which means constellation or Signs of the Zodiac so i kept it.
The xXx are suppose to be stars! heart
and chan is just the fem. title.

yanderella

I was a huge fan of yandere (I still am; I've just been focused on other things lately), and saw something somewhere called "Tsunderella". I decided to sort of take that idea and replaced the tsundere with yandere to come up with Yanderella. It's probably a concept that I wasn't the first to invent.
Yes, very geeky...

My Japanese name is (obviously) Kurenai_Akari. The names take themselves from:

明り (Akari): A female character form the manga/anime "Hikaru no Go". It means "light/bright"

(Kurenai)
: Taken from the song of the same name by the Visual Kei band, X Japan (And it's my favorite song from them!) It means "crimson/deep red"

Its my last name. The kanji read in Japanese is Hayashi. Someone took Hayashi so I changed the i to a 1 biggrin .

I was originally niceril but people probably read my name Nice Ril. It was originally an anagram for my full name Eric Lin. (rearrange the words and you got Niceril).
