So which character do you find more interesting?
Personally I prefer Ryan because he's so charismatic, he has less of the cold scientific approach but more that of a politician made for stimulating speeches, and because his messages on your radio were so full of contempt over who you may be representing (the CIA or the KGB), which made him appear like a total badass when you start the game.

Ryan doesn’t really try and kill you (because he knows your his sun) but Lamb is a crazy b***h that make you shot yourself because your attached to her daughter and is making her into a freak that she things will make her almost a god.
And Ryan didn’t have a cult, lambs cult blows up rapture because they don’t get when they want
Ryan wanted to build a place where the artist would not fear the censor, where the scientist would not be bound by petty morality... blah blah blah. The slugs where the only thing that stuffed it up (and Fontaine and Lamb)

Lamb in my opinion was much more interesting.
I say this merely because unlike Ryan she REALLY hated you. When you harvest with a little sister she sent Waves of splicers after you. The most Ryan does, is try to kill the environment to kill you because you begin to pose a threat thanks to Fontaine. I mean Lamb CONTROLS the splicers an big sisters an big daddies. Ryan just owned the world you moved around in. She was a power house compared to him even though her character was heavily flawed.

I kinda gotta say Lamb on this one.
I really liked the psychotic character she played. The extreme hate, that she has towards you. I mean I agree with Toosutaa with the view on Ryan, but I really like the cold scientific approach Lamb has, and just the pure wicked insanity that she displays. I am a lover of characters like her. Always love the deranged and sick like she was. Yeah sure she had the crazy a** cult, which ended up being the downfall but still. I loved the fact that she made you shoot yourself, just that and that display of power... I don't know. : ) I love sadists.

I pick Sofia Lamb.
In every descusion her and Andrew had, she always seemed to win, and she already had Rapture following her when she went to prison. Andrew Ryan had already fallen before he even died.

I think Andrew Ryan
Im not sure if you guys know this but isnt Jack's dad andrew ryan becuase he was with this exotic dancer. Also hes pretty interesting to know what his opinions are on the world powers. And make a world power on his own with another competitor sofia Lamb.

Andrew Ryan, by far. Sofia Lamb was just a cultist who had lost faith in the world. However, while she sends lots of enemies at you, she has a very underwhelming impact on Delta. Andrew Ryan built Rapture, and once he was gone, Lamb was just as lazy as Fontaine in trying to conquer it.
Plus, there's no way she could ever match Ryan's "A man chooses, a slave obeys" speech.
Besides, I never actually hated Andrew Ryan. But by the end of Bioshock 2, I was regretting being such a nice guy and allowing Sofia Lamb to live.
And yes, Jack is the illegitimate son of Andrew Ryan and that dancer. Although she sold the fetus, and Ryan killed her for it. Andrew Ryan doesn't piece together who Jack really is until later in the game, though.

Andrew Ryan. I love the book and the games, and he was interesting in both. Lamb, though interesting, was a bit of a cliche. You know, the whole "I'm going to create a utopia by making everyone as one person". I've heard that a million times. It's even in real life. It's like the borg, only less malicious intent.
...god, that was an obscure reference.
