~Jenna Burton~ She relaxed as they toured the stables, it was a whole lot easier for her to relax around something so familiar. Sure the place was fancy and huge, and probably more expensive than she could ever afford, but it was like being at home. She watched the two horses come up to the fence and smiled widely. "They're georgous." Calmly she reached out to them, keeping her hand flat and palm up. "Do you ride, or are they for show?" It was meant as an honest question, afterall there were people who kept horses just to have them. Jenna was curious about the subject, but his statement about his parents being gone didn't slip through her attention. However she didn't ask about it but focused on the horses and the stable.
((OOC: Sorry about not posting. I've been gone for awhile, but my posting should be back to normal in a day or so))

____________________________________________ [c o l t o n] → ___________[e l b e]and i hope it gives you hell."Oh I ride them faithfully. Cookie here is still being trained, but Rockwell's my trail horse surprisingly. We could go out on the trails one day after class if you want. I'm sure it won't be quite like Kansas, but it'll be something."
Colton smiled broadly at Jenna, before turning back to Cookie. He rested his forehead on her nose for a second, his mouth moving but his words inaudible. The filly snorted, bobbing her head as if to agree with what the male had said. After a second or two, he lifted his head.
"Well, we should probably head back to campus. Class will be starting soon."

~Jenna Burton~ Jenna smiled brightly, "I'd really like that, even if it's not like Kansas." Her smiled widened as she watched him talk to the filly. It surprised her that he would be involved with horses, as she didn't think that most of the people here would want to do the dirty work involved with it. She turned to face the campus and sighed. "I guess we might as well. No use being late on the first day of classes. I defiantly don't want to stick out any more than I already do."

Nina Emily Winters
Nina reaching into her shoulder bag, scrambling round for a few seconds until she located her diary. Flipping to the inside cover Nina's lips twitched. "Physics, the joy!" she replied with a grin and sarcastic roll of her eyes. She was actually pretty good at the subject, but that didn't mean she had to like it. "What about you? Please tell me it's something good, may give me some hope for later on,"

[Okay, so it's been an almost unanimous decision to skip ahead to lunch. For those of you who said we should go to class in order to take full advantage of being in a school environment, and now don't quite get why this roleplay is set in a school if I didn't intend to go through the classes, let me explain(: I feel like a school environment sets up characters in a better situation to meet people and make enemies, all while being at a teenage stage in life. Also, this way, we can throw in all the parties, after school fights, sports events, school events, etc. While we may not go through class, which I actually worried might bore everyone trying to make up conversation, you all as roleplayers get the chance to really create a crazy highschool character! If we skip to lunch, as some people pointed out, We also get the time to establish roles and cliques without having to be stuck in a classroom. Wow, this was super long, but I hope you took the time to read it! I cannot post my own characters right now,but feel free to send your character to class, do a time skip, and set yourself up in the lunch room!(: Description of it will be up soon, hopefully, but let your imaginations run wild and even create it yourself! -acebirchy]

She ordered a burger and fries with a chocolate shake and started looking around for a place to sit. Most tables were filled with groups already, but she found a table that was mostly empty and sat at the end of it so she wouldn't bother anyone.✩ ★ ✩ ★ ✩ ★ ✩ ★ ✩

Karen WashizuPretty In Punk So far day so good. Karen was already enjoying her lunch by the time the bell rang for it to officially start, but it was alright, skipping PE was no biggie to be honest. the dining room it's self wasn't much different from any other school dining hall. the line ran along the counter where meals were collected and payed for there and then, and the tables and chairs were all evenly spaced apart with ample walking room... Or tripping room if you were on someones bad books. What did differ was the presence of an upper balcony. This area was for pre-ordered meals, brought out by waiters and waitresses to your booked table and was of the highest quality. Not that the other food wasn't excellent, but you did have to wait for it and there was a chance of it being gone or dried out by the heat lamps when you got there. also the furnishings up there were better. Karen wasn't too fussed though. She tended to bring her own 'bento box' lunch with her from home. It was more than half finished by now though, the only thing that was keeping her from finishing the last few mouthfuls was the interesting chatter and actions of the other pupils flooding into the hall, and the flooding it's self... It was almost impossible to get out when most of the school was coming in.
