**Promises**
[Diary Entry]
For a long time, I've stood beside you, and helped you with your demons. But every day, I see you growing weaker and the more you give in to Obscurite, the more pain it causes the both of us. I want nothing more than to take your demons away. Sometimes, when you lose control, you hurt me. But sometimes, I like it. These scars you've given me are a privileged to wear. That means that we are close. It means that you want us to stay together. We endure this pain together and it only makes our friendship stronger.
For a while now, I've seen you grow more distant. Why is it that you ignore me and shun me away. You took me from my home and gave me freedom, but you do not give me the liberty of your words anymore. Have I done something wrong? What could be going on in your mind. Does Obscurite drive you away from me? Or is it that he driving you closer? Closer to the brink of your insanity that causes you to want to see me in pain. It's okay, even if it hurts, I will bear the pain for you. I will help you find your strength, and I will never leave you.
Please, brother. Don't leave me alone here. I just want to find what real freedom is, and I want to experience the ecstasy of unrestraint together. So promise me, you won't leave me. Promise that you'll be there when I wake. The sun will shine anew and we will find our rightful place amongst the sky and it's infinite boundaries. Promise me...

**What I Desire**
Andy had eventually returned home after a few days of being alone. Rasiel had stolen her away from home and then left her out there alone after he claimed that he couldn't handle it anymore. Andy had come back through the downstairs window and went back to her bedroom. At this point, she sat at her desk and doodled in her lyric book drawings of Rasiel. She was slowly becoming obsessed with the idea of him, and she simply could not get him out of her head. Every moment was enveloped with the thought of him. She wanted nothing more than to have him all for herself and would just not take no for an answer.
Eternal had erupted into the room, "There you are! I've looked everywhere for you!! Do you know how scared I was to find you gone!!! Do you even care?!" she yelled at Andy, approaching the desk and stopping. She was surprised by what she saw, all over Andy's desk was written 'Rasiel', carved into the wood with something sharp like a knife. "WHAT IS THIS?! So, now you go and destroy your things over that boy! That's it, I forbid you from going outside, and I forbid you from ever seeing Rasiel again!!!"
Andy paused in her drawing and stood up from the desk. "No."
Eleana was furious at this point as she grabbed Andy's arm. "Are you even listen-.." she was suddenly met with a small shock, as though she had just touch a socket with wet hands. She stumbled back in surprise.
"I'm not staying here. I will be with Rasiel again and no one can stop me. Not even you mother. Please accept my apologies, but big brother has shown me what it is to be free and you cannot lock me up here. A caged bird will never sing, and a free bird will never be caged again." she spoke softly and looked to Eleana. "I'm sorry, mother. Please understand that you only hurt me when you keep me from the things I desire the most: freedom, and the presence of my brother."
With that, Andy walked out of the bedroom and left the house. She would have Rasiel, even if she had to make it to where she was his only friend. Then, and only then, would he be free to be with her and only her.

**Territory**
[Diary Entry]
I saw him today. Rasiel. He looks more mature now, but then again, he always looked pretty mature already. He was with someone else. A boy. That stupid boy was holding his hand. I just wanted to scream, and tell him to let go of my brother, tell him that he was mine and mine alone. But even throughout all my anger, I couldn't speak a word of it. It hurt so much to see them like that. Why would you do it, brother? I thought I was the only one. I thought I would be your special friend. Why him? What so special about some short boy with emo hair? He can't even wear eyeliner right! What makes him so much better than me? Why cast me aside like this?
There's not much I can do now. I can still try to get your attention and pray that you'll be mine again, but I don't think you'll listen as long as that boy still stays clung to you like some helpless mutt. Rasiel, I hope you know that I won't give up so soon. I'll always be your shining star.

**Not The Only One**
[Diary Entry]
Mother had explained to me that Rasiel was not my brother, she likes to correct me all the time. I really don't care. I guess she felt the need to set me straight. Mother told me that I really did have a sibling. I found it weird and expected for her to wheel in a toddler all fresh and new. I was mistaken. It was a girl, much older than me. Her name is Blaise. We must have stared at each other for hours without a word. She seemed like she didn't really want to be there, and almost too nervous of the idea of me. What the hell is this anyway? Is this supposed to make me feel better? I hardly think that finding out I had a sister the whole damn time makes me feel better about Rasiel leaving me all alone. Does she think that this girl, Blaise, will solve all my problems? Oh, I'll just completely forget about Rasiel and replace everything I thought of him with the idea of Blaise. WHAT. A. JOKE!! I wish I could just run away and never come back. I don't want to be here anymore. I wish I had stayed an orphan. I never asked for any of this. I hope my mother and Blaise just leave me alone. Nothing they've given will make this all better. Nothing.

**Not Another One**
Andy sat at the dinner table, glaring as she ate her chicken. She seemed upset and very disgruntled about the situation.
"Andy, eat your food." Eleana commanded, trying to break Andy's angry stare from the toddler at the other end of the table. They had been staring at each other for hours now since Eleana had brought the toddler home. At this time, even Blaise had come to visit, all of the girls sitting down for a nice family dinner.
"But Mom, it's disgusting. Take it back!" Andy demanded, giving a twisted face to show her disgust as she picked at the chicken with her fork.
"Andy!! I want you to be nice to your new little sister!!" Eleana retorted back to her angrily. Andy had been begging all afternoon for Eleana to take back the toddler to the academy to give it to someone else. Eleana had thought that instead of Blaise coming to be a friend to Andy, that maybe having a little sister would teach her some responsibility and get her to calm down from her rebellious phase. All the while, Blaise remained quiet, choosing not to get herself caught up in the argument she knew was soon to come. Sighing, Blaise finished the last piece of her chicken and got up from the table to clean her dishes.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaandyyy~" the toddler screamed out suddenly, a face of smiles as she clapped her hands excitedly.
"What?" Andy responded, still glaring at the toddler.
"AAAAAAAAAANDYYY~"
"WHAT?!"
"AAAAAAAAAANDYY~!!!"
"WHAT DO YOU WANT?!"
"Andy, stop that right now!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAANDYY~!!"
"KIIIIIIIIIIRAAA!!!!"
Kira squealed happily and began to clap more. "AAAAAAAAANNDYY!!!!!" she screamed as loud as she could.
"LEAVE.. ME.. ALONE!!!" Andy then screamed out in anger.
"Andy!! I told you to stop that, now go to your room!!" Eleana was frustrated with Andy, it seemed nothing she did would get Andy to act like a proper lady. She was fed up with this so-called rebellious phase Kae had insisted she was in.
"But!! She started it!!!"
"I don't care WHO started it, I'm finishing it, go to your room right now!!" she demanded, making a motion to get up if she continued to defy her.
Andy sighed and glared to the toddler as she walked up to Kira. "I don't like you."
"ANDY!" Eleana screeched in anger as she pointed her finger toward Andy's bedroom. Eleana got up from her chair to help Blaise with the dishes, leaving the room, only for a moment. Andy stuck her tongue out at Kira, and Kira then picked up her plate and threw it at Andy, hitting her in the face.
"WHY.. YOU LITTLE SNOT!!!" she exclaimed as she bent over to take off her shoe, ready to beat the toddler with it when Eleana walked back in. "ANDY!!! WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!?!"
Kira looked up to Eleana with curious eyes. "..Andy did it.." she said in a small voice, blinking with her big eyes innocently at her mother.
"I DID NOT!!!"
"ANDY, YOU ARE GROUNDED!!! GO TO YOUR ROOM!!!"
Andy then let out a scream in frustration, put back on her shoe and stomped off to her bedroom, furious with rage. She cursed under her breath, knowing that her new little sister was probably not the angel her mother thought she was. Removing spaghetti from her hair, she trudge off to take a shower before going to bed. The day may have been over, but Kira would still be there in the morning.

**Our Savior**
[Diary Entry]
It wasn't a big surprise when mom disappeared. Kira cried a bit when she began to realize what I already knew: She wasn't coming back. It was just Kira and I in the house, alone, for a really long time. Times were hard for a long while. Going into the city was even harder. People would stare at the two of us. There was no hiding what we were and even if these people didn't call us out on it, they silently judged us with their eyes. There was a few times where I'd have arguments with the humans, but they were all always on the human's side. We were always somehow in the wrong. Also not a big surprise.
It took a few months before anyone really realized that we had been alone the whole time. It was Rasiel, the one and only. He had come by to see if my mother could help him with a problem he had. From what he explained, Alice was ill and their mother was also nowhere to be found. I wished I could help her, but I didn't have the vast scientific knowledge my mother had. There was nothing I could do.
Rasiel offered us a new place to stay. He had a house by himself where he lived with Delilah and Lucian. He said that they would enjoy Kira coming to live with them since they could all play together. He asked me personally if I could help him raise the three of them. I accepted.
I liked his company. It was nice. He would never leave me, I know that. But I sometimes feel bad that I'm the only girl he will open up to. He doesn't have any friends. It's just the five of us in one house. Rasiel often leaves to go visit his sister. I don't see why he won't bring her to live with us as well, but he says it's because she's unstable and prefers to be alone. I've gone to visit a few times by myself without him knowing, but Alice will never let me in. I can't even hear her beyond the door most times, so I don't see how he even gets in. Maybe he has a key.
Life is not too bad, we've learned to make due with what we've got. It only gets tough when the locals catch on to us and on occasion, they graffiti upon our house and doors or throw rocks through the window. We always have to make sure that the children aren't hurt.
I wonder how the other metas are doing, if they are having the same problems as we are. I long to go back there, but I don't know if we could ever go back to the way it used to be. I long for those lost days.

**For The Best**
[Diary Entry]
Life always has a funny way of throwing you curve balls. Some times, you're not prepared for them.
So today, Rasiel tells me that he found his mother after she calls to tell him she's in the hospital. They were on the phone a bit, and then he suddenly ran out of the house without a word. Delilah cried for a long while afterward. I assume she was afraid her "Genba" wasn't coming back. He was gone most of the day, but he called me and told me he was at the hospital. My heart sank a little until he explained that it was his sister that was the one who needed medical care.
I'd only met her once or twice, but I still feel bad for the girl. Rasiel told me to go on without him to the Academy and he'd meet back up with me later. I really didn't like the sound of that, so I made him promise to stay at the dorms. I don't think he knows about the lock down, so by the time he gets there, it'll be too late anyway. I would rather he didn't fight it. We all belong there.
I'll be leaving soon to head back to the Academy. I phoned ahead so that they knew we were coming. Delilah and Kira fight me at every step to go back. Kira doesn't want to go because she likes fighting the humans, and Delilah doesn't want to leave without Rasiel. Lucian, he's just getting a little cranky that everyone is upset.
I'm about to pack their things, because we leave tonight, with or without Rasiel. I'm sure he'll manage his way back to the Academy. I really don't know where he'll stay though, he is an adult after all. I wonder if they'll still let him sleep in his old dorm room or something. But for now, I'll have to figure out where the kids will stay. I never realized being a mother is pretty hard.
