I want to have 10 max level toons.
I currently have Druid 80 Priest 80 Shaman 80 DK 73 Warlock 43
I planned to level Undead Mage Tauren Warrior Blood Elf Pally Troll/Orc Rogue before Cataclysm comes out
and Goblin Hunter after Cataclysm comes out.
Thing is though, most of my friends that have been on longer than I have said I'll regret not leveling everything after the expansion comes out since XP earning gets redone after expansions and what would take me 4-5 weeks per toon now may take half the time later. (especially with possible Azeroth flying mounts at ??? lvl)
Anyways, do you guys think I should level all toons to 80 now so I can get them all to 85 when the expansion comes out, or should I hold off on leveling and just work on gearing and playing my current high level accounts?

I would say work up your other characters but dont make any new ones till later and get your others to 80 so they are ready to go to 85. because i look at it this way if you work on your 80's now you would be basicly making a twink at lvl 80 lol, just save up your money for the new gear when the new game comes out.

I agree with her on this one. Level your other characters and just focus on those you have.

Agreed, focusing on what you have after you lvl your other characters is the best choice.

There will definitely be flying mounts in Azeroth, but I haven't heard anything about the XP curve being reworked or anything else that might effect the amount of experience you'd get for current content. Anything between 60-80 will most likely remain unchanged.
Below 60 though is getting a huge rework, so for any of those you might want to wait. Cataclysm won't be out for a little bit though so you really have time to do whatever you want, within reason.

121DESTROY u rally should make a troll shaman m ymain is a troll shaman and i love him Yeah, I really didn't think of racials or anything when picking Tauren for Shaman. I just wanted to roll a Tauren character and I like healing, so that's why I chose Tauren Shaman. Decided to level them whenever I'm bored. I like power leveling and pvping, but sometimes I get bored of either or both.

I'd make sure all characters are comfortably set (decently geared and spec'd) before making new chars. Essentially you'll have a char for everything, but you won't be great at anything.

Essentially you'll have a char for everything, but you won't be great at anything. I think it takes more time gearing than leveling and with level cap being increased to 85, all current top gear will likely be outdated in next expansion. Must have sucked for BC people when Lich King came out and several quest items were better than some nice raiding gear pieces. I'm not all that interested in raids anyways. I'm gearing my priest for pvp and level when I get bored. That's working out fine for now. biggrin
