Well I used to have a blog of sorts here discussing nascar, so this is the official revival after nearly a year and a half of inactivity.
This same topic will also be running at ChristianRacing.com, which is an awesome site that runs leagues for ARCA Sim Racing, Stock Car Evolution and rFactor.

My opinions of daytona:
Congrats on Mcmurray winning. He's been one of my favorite drivers for years now, and seeing him getting a 3rd plate win I think makes him a solid contender at these tracks. Isn't just luck anymore.
Jr. looked good and had an amazing last lap, let's hope he keeps that steam through the rest of the season.

Next week: California I'd say look out for David Reutimann, I've noticed him upfront a bit there. Can't count out the Roush-Fenway drivers, they hold their own there. Nor can we dismiss Truex. I'm hoping he's a force to be reckoned with, hopefully his performance at Daytona was just a glimpse at what the rest of the season will look like.

Future Broadcast: I really expect Montoya to get an oval win. After some very good performances in the chase last year, I think he will be a serious threat for the championship.
