Wyverns are a variable species, they are similar to dragons in structure but are usually much smaller than a dragon and rather than wings on the back they have wings attached to the arms. Wyverns are highly adaptable creatures that can evovle over a long period of time to easily live in any area, and by living in different areas of course the shapes and sizes of the wyverns greatly differ. Wyverns are also highly territorial creatures and are highly aggressive. Wyverns have weaker scales to the cousen species of dragon but to make up for the bulky scales and size they are much quicker and are much more adept to flight as they spend a considerable amount of time flying rather than lumbering around the ground like the dragon. Regardless of strength will usually only travel in pairs at a maximum number these are usually breeding pairs.

hail fire
the wyvern will inhale over a long period of time and inevitably release a barrage of small fireballs over the general area. this attack is usually performed in the air while in flight to maximise damage radius.

fire ball
the steryotypical attack of creatures like dragons and wyverns. essentially a quick burst of fire that is compact into a fairly large sphere. the attack is generally slow once fired but is charged up for usage fairly quickly and is commonly used on the ground at close range to a target or to break up a cluster of enemies.

crimation
a fire breath attack that is charged up rather quickly and is a mid range attack that spreads a large amount of fire over a fairly large area infront of the wyvern. the attack is very short in duration but the after effect leaves what ever touched by the flame to be reduced to nothing but ash or constantly burning until extinguished very quickly or the target is rendered to ash. a commonly land used attack but is just as deadly in flight, though the wyvern will usually fly fairly close to the ground when using the attack.

((most wyverns use this skill set but replacing the element accordingly to the area the wyvern is EG mountains would have wind based attacks or wyvern that live in water would replace fire with water streams and such. effects of such attacks would also be fairly common sense such as water and wind not causing fire damage. ))
