As a lesser goddess, Nemesis wasn't normally at Mount Olympus. It was a rare occourance for the goddess of balance and justice to be seen there. A lovely dark purple peplos on her body, and a golden wreath of thorns atop her head, Nemesis looked around. Her medium purple eyes scanned the area intensly, her thin black eyebrows in a curios arch. Why was she even at Mount Olympus? Her gorgeous ebony locks were in an intircate and lovely mound of curls atop her head. The goddess twitched her nose as she sat down on a nearby bench in the clearing. Halfheartedly, she wondered what Morpheus and Hecate were doing. And what of the other lesse gods like herself?

"Greetings, Nemesis. What brings you to Olympus?" Persephone asked. She herself was not supposed to be here either, or at least not often, but she had come anyway to escape the dreariness of the Underworld, and perhaps she too wanted to escape the nagging of her mother.

Hearing the voice of another, Nemesis turned her head easily. When her eyes rested on Persephone, the goddess smiled softly and patted the seat beside her. "Greetings Persephone. Won't you sit?" she asked in a kind, melodic voice. Another being of lesser importance on Mount Olympus? This was curious. Very, very curious... What did 'Big Brother' Zues have in store for them now?

"Yes, thank-you," Persephone said. She took a seat next to Nemesis and sighed. "What brings you here? I only came to escape the Underworld . . . and my mother for a little while. Hearing her chatter, and seeing that cold place does things to one, wouldn't you agree? Not to mention, I suppose I was looking for a little excitement. Things can get to be so boring. I thought, 'Maybe if I went to Olympus, something interesting would happen.'"

Nemesis only nodded, a smile etched onto her face. "Yes. Things do tend to get boring after a few several millenia. And how is Demeter doing lately? Still mumbling to you about your next visit and complaining at the darkness of the Underworld? she asked, something of a sly smile etched onto her face. She curled an ebony lock around her ear and looked back at Persephone. " I'm not quite sure why I am here, in all honesty. Something just pulled me here."
