So after loads of tossing ideas around and spilling vials of brain juices, Katie and I may have come up with an idea that will help keep WAR alive for at least a year or two longer.
We've come up with a series of events that run together in a chronoligical order, all while connecting to eachother in some ways.
For example, the character Zeke from the current AvC event may show up in a lter event as a key character as well.
Each event is very original and will require a LOT of fighting. Also, the setting will change with each event (or for most of them, anyway). So, everyone won't be fighting in the forest for no reason actual for forever.
Finally, each event will have a Boss fight.
We're still working out the mechanics for this idea, but basically at the end of an event the winning team will have to face an opposing boss.
The fight will be the entire team against one or two people (the bosses, of course, will be allowed to god-mod for this short period of time).
Which brings me to another thing.
Every event will feature TEAMS.
So now people WILL have a reason to fight eachother other than just random violence (not saying there's something wrong with random violence ;]).
Also, teams may even break off into groups of a few people and fight as a unit.
Each event will have a STORY behind it (nice new feature, 'ya?) which will link up with the next event.
Also, if we can work thing out there'll be an interactive comic for each event throughout it telling the story that's happening behind the scenes.
