I agree with Anu, so I'd taken to calling it Singles' Awareness Day as well. And Chinese New Year, of course. hehe smile Whatever you celebrated, I hope it was grand.

I don't like the idea that the send to people about NEEDING to buy your significant other gifts of awesomeness but I do however like spending time with good friends over a nice dinner.

I like what you call it xomorbida! I'm single so I spent the day with my uncle and dad 4x4ing. Last year I hung out with my gay friend and two of my bestfriends at the mall.
We got chased fingered because Jake, the gay guy, yelled at a couple that they would break up soon. It was embarrassing and fun day.
I've never had a boyfriend when valentines day came around so I always spend it witht the ones I love.
