i like realistic fiction things that could actually happen in real life is just alot more appealing to me. i like war books and esipionage like books by tom clancey

I just plain don't understand the appeal of that and probably never will.

..That's cool that there is a lot of writers in here razz ...I tried to write a book ..it was some romance with cowboys and such in it..(yes i'm a sap for cowboys)...but despite the plea of friends to keep writing i gave up...but i have had a few of my poems published and do that every once in a while......and as far as reading goes..romance books..i like to read about the love life that will never happen to me razz !

I just plain don't understand the appeal of that and probably never will.

Fantasy and sci-fi are great, I love them (they can be a great escape), but I know what Boo means. Sometimes the mind craves a dose of reality in it's fiction -something that could actually affect your life if it happened, and that you can relate directly to.

Anyways, I've tried to write, and have always dreamt of writing fiction, but I have mild ADD, and am a great procrastinator. Still I know I will do it someday- possibly when I'm done with high school, and college.

I've been working on my novel for three years. gonk I work in the sci-fi/pornography section of books. I like these kind of stories because you are able to become more descriptive and detailed in your writting and can awaken some passions and ideas. *Shrugs her shoulders* Yeah...
