It's been a while since I've colored anything on photoshop and I figured it was time to use my tablet again. Sadly I mostly used my mouse in this, but I tried a new line art technique and coloring strategy because I wasn't happy with my current style.

The sketch isn't mine, a friend asked me to color it with snow whites color scheme so I did just that.

I'll admit right now that I've never seen snow in my life, and I have no idea how the lighting would fall in this type of stance. Any help or comments would be appreciated.

The snow seems a little... For lack of a better word, lumpy. Also, why does it look like her nether regions/inner thighs are glowing?

The snow should look softer and perhaps have more of a blue tone.

As Bone-Butterfly says, it's a bit odd that the inner part of the thighs are illuminated.
I'm not entirely clear on what these shadows on her body are... Is she wet from the snow melting on her body? Is she under a tree?

Those bumps in the snow to the left are sorta weird... did someone drop something or step there? If it's fresh snow, it'd probably just look flat. If there's wind, that would mostly even things out.

I think the colours used for the snow are good. Snow is white and appears grey in shadows or whatever. You might use a bit of blue if it's reflecting the sky, but if it's snowing, it's probably cloudy out. On a sunny day, the snow would really be a white eyesore that can put you at risk of sunburn due to it reflecting so strongly, so even then you might not see a lot of sky blue. Anyhow, it's snowing in this picture... Light could still come from the dimmed sun behind the clouds, the sun shining through, or street lights or whatever... I'm not really clear on where the light's coming from in this picture, so I can't really comment on the shading.

I'd think her fingers would be as red as her knuckles... unless she was specifically pressing her knuckles to the snow. Being separated, smaller targets the way they are, I'd think the fingers would freeze up first. I've never really paid attention to that on cold days, though. The face and ears would probably also be very red since they're not shielded... at least hands can get some warmth in your pockets or something. I dare say it's odd for her to be out in that weather dressed like that, though.
