"Let us go ace," with that he went off, satisfied he could catch up with an old friend later on. Now his focus was on the boy, because he needed training and Okami was the perfect man to teach him.

Ronmaru leaped back to match Genji's lunge, using the water from the clone that had just been defeated to manipulate his blade's ability again. Unfortunately, it had been the dual kunai wielding clone, and his second katana, formed of water, vanished quickly into water. he formed another sphere of water at the tip of his katana midair, and fired three precise bullets of water at Genji, following up with the same razor sharp wave as before.

The bullets were fired at timing so that Genji would either be hit by them, causing heavy bruising and possibly cracking a bone, or halt his lunge to defend.

The clones remained at a stalemate; no clones were defeated this time. It seemed that the two really had hit a wall. However, the real Ronmaru intervened to set the tides on his side.

"Hidden Mist Jutsu...." He chanted, as the area around them was covered in a dense fog. Since it was his jutsu, he could see through the mist, as well as his clones. Genji and his clones, however, did not have the jounin level training to see through all types of mist, so they were at a loss.

Ronmaru's clones struck quickly and silently, trying to damage the clones just once with stealthy attacks through the mist. Ronmaru merely waited for Genji to respond to the attacks recently thrown at him.

Genji slashed down on buttet. Unfortunately, the other two water bullets did strike him, but, fortunately, they stuck non-vital spots: his left shoulder and his hip. When the razor wave came, Genji ducked and avoided it. The bullets didn't pierce his skin, but the buises they left stung a bit. To make things even worse, Ronmaru summoned a mist to mask his presense and the presense of the clones, adding yet another disadvantage against Genji. Not only did he have to deal with weapons that had power while his weapons' powers were still dorment, he couldn't see anything! He really wished that he learned that mist jutsu earlier. Maybe after this is over, Zaine may be benevolent enough to teach it to him. However, Genji had to keep his head in the moment. Neither he nor his clones could see, but they could still hear, so Genji and his clones remained perfectly still, waiting and listening for any noise or movement that would signal the time to act.

Ronmaru, having achieved his goals here, headed elsewhere in the village. There were certain documents he needed, and, until he got them, he wouldn't be able to be as strong as he wished to be. Of course, no one but the Akatsuki leader knew just what he was up to; they would have a new member in their ranks shortly enough. He stalked away in the mist, soundlessly leaving Genji and his clones without an opponent. Soon, the two would be enemies.
