Well...I don't view it as religious. Not because I'm not religious myself, but because I never thought of it as religious to begin with. Yeah, it has some mythological things here and there but still. Valentines Day is more of a day that reminds me of how my generation is a bunch of teeny-popper whores that are unintelligent in different ways. I guess you could say I don't celebrate Valentine's Day because of my love life, but you could also say I don't celebrate it because I feel it is unimportant.

Valentine's Day is not part of my religion (Christian, but not a big name denomination). Last year we had a banquet for our elder members. This year, there's a potluck. It's not religious so much as a reason to get together for fellowship.

Valentine's Day is when my parents buy me chocolate covered starberries, so it's not all bad. xP
But in all seriousness, I think the "holiday" itself is kind of silly. It's fabricated to sell people over-priced, low-quality crap to show their "love."

I think Valentine's Day is just a special way to celebrate your love and affection for your significant other. You don't have to buy over-priced stuffed bears, too sweet chocolate or flowers that are going to die anyway, to show that you care. You can do something special without those things. That's what I think is important- showing your love without putting a monetary value on it. I know it's named after a saint, but nowadays I don't really see how it has religious ties anymore. lol

I've never seen it as religious, personally. I don't even think I see it as a "holiday". It's a day noted for it's monetary influence manipulation of importance in love lives, but eh. I've always used it as a day to just show affection and love to the people important to me, and just actually say something about it. I guess it could also be because I'm not particularly sentimental for some stuff like this, lawl.
It's a day of love, though (but shouldn't every day be? D8 ). So eh. If you celebrate it, I say do it from the heart and not from the wallet.

I didn't know some people considered it a religious holiday. I don't celebrate Valentines day. I don't think it's evil or anything, I just don't believe in it. I think you should do nice things for your SO all the time, and setting aside one day is just a way for the candy and flower industries to make money (though I don't mind chocolate being on sale, not gonna lie).
I did go to a love poetry reading on Valentine's. I read "Song of Solomon".
