I meant to do this along time ago. This is just me ranting I guess. Every one here should know about the earth quake in Haiti. But what people may not know is the ignorance that it brought out of alot of people.

Ex.

One "pastor" said that the reason why the earth quake came upon Haiti is because long ago when they were captured by the french. They made a deal with the devil. The devil gave them the knowledge to escape and that is the only way tehy got released from the french.

Another Ex.

A foot ball player. Not really that famous says that he will never donate to Haiti because they deserve what they got and giving would only make them less worst off then they already are.

As a Haitian whose father and sister is down there and cannot find. I find more and more ignorance like this coming from people. I dont know why Ignorance breeds these types of people.

*shakes head* Yeah I heard that and more and damn near cried out in pure pain and angst. I just can't believe stupidity like that from people. Then again Americans across the board (no matter race, class, gender, ect) are ******** stupid about the world outside of this county. I mean we don't even fully understand how great this country could be because of our collected stupidity. I dare say that Stupidity is deadlier than any known virus or illness we have as mankind. As stupidity carries on for generations and generations and can't be cure. It's the worst of everything.

Compare to stupidity AIDS/HIV and all cancers are doable and curable but stupidity nah peeps nothing can be done for stupidity save for death itself and even then.

Oh and that fake "Pastor" said a similar thing about NY when 9/11 happened but people ignored him and shut him up quick. I believe (and it's impossible to find online) but he claimed that 9/11 happen because NY supported Gay people and was amoral and need to be damned to hell. <--well something along those lines.

Take a like a water rolling off a duck's back, keep having faith, and I dunno try to contact some of the good people helping out over there. We all know many celebrities have set up Twitter accounts, facebook, and other SN sites and I believe there's a people finder feature on one of those. You might want to check that out when you have the time.

I donated as much as I could via Txt messages, red cross can food, jacket, and shoe drive at my school, and by snail mail. I do hope this doesn't end up like New Orleans though I fear it will because again our stupidity here in America and just worldwide.
