Basic Information
The gun is essentially an upgraded AR-10 with the full Picanty Rail system and the free-floating barrel. Usually, the gun is accurate up to 620 meters with it's normal 7.62mm x 51mm round, and with the increased round it's accurate up to roughly 900 meters. Of course, a scope is usually necessary to even see such distances, and nothing but x10 scopes at least are recommended for this rifle. Like the predecessor, the gun is capable of full semi-automatic fire, although it is not capable of automatic fire.
While usually guns of this size are incapable of supporting such a round becuase of the heavy recoil, The Impact Gel forms a five inch by one inch by three and a half inch fitting in the stock, and roughly 1 pound in the hand grip area. Essentially, the material is corn starch mixed with a binder to allow a solid to preform the same basic mechanics of a Newtonian fluid- being a solid, and much denser, the material has a much higher rate of energy dispersion, allowing essentially 'gel' to be capable of absorbing a tremendous amount of energy. Although not puncture resistant, it is very shock absorbent, and can absorb the full force of the weight of an average sized truck without presenting any damage below, making it an ideal substance to use in weaponry application. Very little recoil is felt, although if handled improperly, the sheer blast of the rifle can cause damage or serious harm.
