_____________Ʀules
] This subforum is NOT FOR RPING! Please don't start mini-RPs, private RPs, or anything else RP-related (unless it's art of some sort) in this forum.
] Please keep things organized in here. Do not post a new thread every time you want to share a piece of artwork. Just as you have one thread for all your characters in the Profiles section, you should have a thread in here for all your artistic endeavors - i.e., 'Jaymee's Super Creative Art Thread'.
] It is up to you how you manage and maintain your thread. If you want to just list a series of links to various things you have done in the first post, so that people can use the actual art thread to leave comments, that's fine. If you want to post a new piece of artwork with each new post you make, that's fine. If you want to do it some other way, that's fine. It's entirely up to you. Feel free to dress your thread up as much as you like.
] If you have several different creative pieces to display (ie, generic artwork vs comic strips vs fanfiction), you may have a seperate thread for each category of your work, i.e., 'Jaymee's Super Creative Art Thead', 'Jaymee's Awesome Fanfictions', 'Jaymee's Webcomic Shenanigans'. Again, do not post a new thread for each new piece of artwork, etc - place it under these categories in your main thread(s). From there, the format is, again, up to you. If you plan to be sharing/writing several fanfictions simultaneously, for example, you may just want to list the story titles and decriptions as links in the first page of your thread, to keep them clearly seperated but still available to read.
] Creative Criticism. Be very careful here. Do not badmouth people's work. Do not tell them they suck. Do not tell them you want to eat their babies. In fact, if the person whose artwork you are commenting on specifies that they do not want creative criticism for their piece, then keep your opinion to yourself. Otherwise, be courteous. A good example of creative criticism would be, 'I like how you did _____, but you might want to try ____ method for your lineart next time, as it would go better with your style'. Bad examples would be 'It sucks 'or 'I don't know what I dislike about it, but it's bad'. That is NOT useful critique. If someone is poopooing your artwork or harassing you, report it to a mod.
] Your content in this subforum does not have to be related to The Facility (although we'd love to see some based on the RP, as well!). It can be anything you like - but please keep Gaia's TOS and the guild's rules in mind.
] These rules may be updated, so check back occasionally to make sure you're up to date.
