and she was wearing a mokona hat! It looked just like the ones on gaia but the funniest thing was that she had no clue about who the character was! it was too funny. She also asked me what the red thing in the middle was . I couldnt help but giggle after she left.



anyone seen people wear anime things and have no clue that they are?

hm, not really an anime thing, but i walked into my mom's coworker showing her (my mom) and another coworker the Leeroy Jenkins video earlier this week. apparently a friend of the coworker showed it to her, but none of them had any idea it was infamous on the internet XD

another time some friends of mine were watching 4chan videos, and a couple times clips from Club-to-Death Angel Dokuro-chan came up. i remember commenting on how messed up a series that is, and a couple of my friends were amazed to know that it was actually an anime series.

i remember there being a guy at my school who had a bag with the NERV logo on it, but i don't know if he actually knew that it was from an anime because i never talked to him.

otherwise, i can't think of any particular instance where someone was unknowingly wearing something from anime.
