I have hated on Epica many times in my day. But two things changed. 1) They decided to tour with Blackguard and 2) For some reason Mark decided to smack Simone in the head until she sounded good.
Guess what happened? Now they sound EXACTLY like After Forever. How are they getting away with this? After Forever broke up. (/heavy sigh). So we can all abuse/use Epica to fill the empty whole in our heart where After Forever/ Floor Jansen's epic vocals used to be.
Tis going to be a good show. Me and a few friends of mine are going to tear it up. Influencing the masses yet again.

I do like Blackguard.
Epica isn't bad, but I'd be looking forward to Blackguard more.

I saw Blackguard again with Ensiferum and I shoved my way to the front. Guess who shocked Paul by knowing all the lyrics? Guess who he gave the mic too since she knew all the lyrics?

I hate Epica....as well as almora...i'm not much into those kind of goth bands as they always make me feel like the life has been sucked into it just by listening to it...I have given them a chance but I really do not like them....as for goth metal thats different...bands like Type O negative and 69 eyes are good
