This is the training ground for the old Chuunin Exams. Its named appropriately, as many unskilled Genin die within the darkness of the forest. A metallic fence surrounds its perimeter with 44 gates equally spaced around it; this perimeter is where the shinobi enter. Inside is a river, the forest, and a tower located in the exact center; the forest's radius is about ten kilometers.

Rikujin and his new "friend" emerged from the ground about five Kilometers into the Forest of Death. Releasing him from his vice-like grip, Rikujin turned to face the leader of the Cloud Village. His brow furrowed. Rikujin didn't hold that many grudges, but one of them happened to be against the Lightning Country and their ninja. Rikujin's normally warm eyes of gray suddenly turned cold and steely.

"Do you want to explain why you have come into this Village both unannounced and unwanted?" Rikujin said with an acid tongue. Not a single word warranted good-will or friendship. "Because I can tell you that there are only two ways you will be leaving." He paused, making sure that the man before him understood every word he was saying. "By free will... Or in a funeral procession, quite like the one you were about to interrupt."

Lightning sparking off him as Rikujin spoke, Rai only stared forward, his glare at the man in front of him as sharp and deadly as the wire that he so often used. Come to think of it, some had worked it's way around him, it's tiny and thin form almost invisible unless there was a light source shining directly on it. With the rain darkening the only light that could make the wires visible, they were effectively hidden, unless of course Rai decided to run his chakra through them. It was time to get to the point, though. "If I had wished to interrupt your funeral procession, I would have destroyed it. Not simply stood by and let you notice me. And I shall tell you something, as well." His chakra rising slightly as he leaned forward, letting the lightning spark off him more vigorously now.

"You dare threaten me again and I'll make sure that the day my people slaughtered yours look like a mercy killing to the state I will leave you in. I came here for answers. Not for you to throw blind threats out to those who will not take them." Rai let his words sink in to the new Kage, letting his malice spew out in his words. He was not one to be tested at that moment.

Rikujin shook his head, almost laughing at Rai. If there was one thing that the Hokage hated, it was ignorance. He scoffed before speaking. "If I remember that day correctly- I should, I was there," He said with a tint of sarcasm. "I would remember that the ninja of your village highly outnumbered a small interception force of Konoha ninja." He continued his own recounting of the story.

"It was only three shinobi that took down the majority of your attack force." He had no sign of a smile on his face while replaying the death of all of the Ligtning Ninja in his mind. "I was one of those three, so I'm quite certain that these threats aren't blind."

Rikujin raised his chakra slightly as a white aura began to seep off of his skin. "Your lightning doesn't scare me." He said. "And I think you know it."

Smirking, Rai showed his teeth, his canines seeming to itch with his anger. So, this truly was the one who had escaped that day. Oh how he wished to slowly flay this one, everyone who had burned that day relived in the man before him. "I was the only one escaped on my side, as I am certain you were the only one that escaped on yours. The one with the eyes...he reaped what he had sown. If I had the chance myself I would have plucked those very blood red eyes from his head myself as a trophy." Chuckling to himself, it was a laugh of more bloodlust than anything. Already he was wanting to slaughter. Him, who had control over himself almost every moment of his life. He had to control himself. Letting his chakra dim slightly, it was a sign that he wasn't going to attack. It was still meant as a sign that he wasn't there for peace, either. His wires moving slowly around him, he was ready for any sudden movement of the ninja in front of him.

"Your threats are blind. If you could have done anything, had the will to do so, you would have tried by now. And I would have cut you to pieces." Almost spitting at the man in front of him, Rai just wanted to cut him to pieces and end it there. It would be so easy. Just a few movements of his hand and the man would be in neat little slices at his feet. Oh, how he wanted to do it.

Rikujin almost exploded right there. Nobody insulted the memory of Rikujin's comrades and friends. Rikujin gritted his teeth, not instantly reacting to Rai's comment about his friend. "You will regret saying that about Masuke..."

Rikujin had his words; however, below him, several of Rikujin's clones were working. Rai wouldn't hear him, but the first called out a jutsu.

"Earth Release: Earth Flow River!" A river of mud began to flow beneath not Rai, but Rikujin. The Hokage kicked forward as he made his Hand-Signs, launching some globs of mud forward. As they flew towards his now-opponent, Rikujin called out his jutsu. "Fire Release: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!"

Rikujin shot a flurry of fireballs at Rai, each fireball catching the mud globs, igniting them. But beneath the now-molten mud lay a secret: a shuriken hid within each glob.

Right off the bat, Rikujin revealed both of his Nature Transformations. However, he still hadn't revealed his trump-cards. This could turn out to be a rather long confrontation between the two Kage.
