Thank you so much, tomorrow is the first memorial service, so wish me luck trying to keep it together. Again, thank you for your support.

It's been two weeks since my father passed away. The memorial service in Denver is over and all in all it went well. I have to attend another one in San Diego later in March. I'm starting to fell a little better. It still hurts though. The best way to handle it is to keep busy and keep moving. I'm not trying to run away from the sadness, but sitting around and moping over my dad is not what he would want me to do. The hardest part is supporting my mom. She is so strong and is also keeping busy, but sometimes she just breaks down and cries. Granted there's nothing wrong with crying, but it makes me sad to see my mom in so much pain. There is only so much I can do to console her. It's going to be hard for a long time.

Please, do me a favor. Let your family know how you feel about them, tell them the things you want to share with them. I was doing to share my hopes, regrets, and my thankfulness for what my dad did for me growing up, but he died four days before I was to go back. I didn't tell him over the phone because I wanted to tell him in person and I thought we had more time. Please don't make the same mistake as me. Life can end so quickly. Don't with-hold how you feel because it seems embarrassing. If you do, you may end up regreting it, like me.
