Personality: Just like the lightning he commands, Rai can be silent, and yet then suddenly explode without warning. Not completely ridden by his emotions, Rai likes to allow himself freedom, in the aspect that he tries not to hide who he is, feelings included. If he doesn't like something, he'll say. If he doesn't like a person, regardless of what status he needs to uphold, he'll let it be known. Rai however, once he likes a person, he will stick by said person until the end of their days. Fiercely loyal, Rai is as changing as lightning, both beautiful and deadly. Unpredictable would be the best word to describe him.

Detailed Biography:
~The Beginning~
Born in the Cloud village, from a very young age Rai was trained to be one with the lightning he and his family controlled. His parents being guards for the lord of the nearby land, Rai was brought up to be loyal and protective, while at the same time he would go outside of his teachings, reverting back to his old self. One day, however, after his training, a ninja from the cloud village was sent to the lord to request a small amount of the guard to go to the village to be trained as ninja to help defend them from any attacks. The lord allowing it, Rai was one of the ones chosen to go, since he was still young. Going to the village, Rai was put into the academy, quickly rising in skill and surpassing most of his class. With that, he graduated, becoming a genin of the cloud village.
~How Could this Happen?~
Shortly after becoming a Genin in the village, with no family or friends to distract him, Rai trained rigorously, mastering his ability to use his lightning chakra with the razor wire he was given as a weapon before he left his home. Showing great skill, the current Raikage had promoted him to Chunin, and then to Jounin shortly after a mission where Rai had successfully captured and then killed a large group of hunter ninja that were planning on trying to destroy the Cloud Village. Shortly after that, however, they were called into a war with the village of Fire, Konoha. Rai had no evil intentions against the ninja of that village. After all, he had never even been that far from Kumo to know any of the other villages. In that battle, he lost everything. Their side was slaughtering the Konoha ninja, a sight that Rai couldn't take. He was at the back lines, being ordered to use his lightning jutsu for long range attacks, mainly his ability to control lightning in the air. Within seconds, Rai's whole vision was blurred in black fire. Quickly jumping into the air, he was smart enough to know that it was no simple illusion, or something that could have been easily stopped. He was the only survivor among his comrades. Within a matter of minutes he had lost everyone he had sworn to protect. And whose fault was it? Later he found out it was one person who had done it. A Uchiha of the Leaf Village had unleashed that hellfire on everyone, including himself. From that day on, Rai swore that he would have his revenge. If not soon, he would make sure it would be eventually. He would kill the Uchiha. Even if it cost him everything. After all, what else did he have to lose other than his life?
