[ Note, this is a flit only RP. Why? Because it'll be cracked out and we can be generally silly. Will it count towards anything? Nope. We're just doing it for fun.
Since firelizards as basically mini-dragons, I figure they can at least communicate with one another pretty well. Maybe baby talk, no more then three words at a time. WHY NOT? Let's give it a shot, everyone have fun XD! ]
Hinalle had decided that she was getting tired of waiting around and doing nothing during the day, her companion flit content on sleeping away all her pregnant woes. Rinel was growing larger day by day, her color turning more vibrant to the point she almost glowed, and Hinalle resented the fact that they couldn't go exploring anymore.
Well, that wasn't entirely true. She could probably go out and explore all on her own, but there wasn't really a point in that unless someone else came along. It was in her best interest then to try and gather as many flitts as possible, not such a hard task considering there were bunches of them in the Weyr, and together they would all venture out and have some kind of party! How exciting would that be?!
Hinalle blinked between as she started searching for others, all the while sending out letting messages that it was time to gather together. She didn't specify where ( she was a Green, so sue her for not thinking that far ahead ), but she certain made sure everyone knew that Green Hinalle was looking for others!

Blue Farran opened a sleepy eye from where he dozed on the back of his lady's vacant chair. A green calling for a gathering? He pondered the idea. Well, it could be fun, he decided, and little Lin, young as she was, needed socializing anyways. The blue stretched and looked around, chirping a question into the air, looking down as an answering whistle came from the comfortable seat of the same chair he was perched on. The smaller green looked up at him curiously, crooning. Time to go play! Farran decided, launching off the chair and calling for Lin to follow. The lady was busy eating, soon followed by her bath, she wouldn't notice they weren't about for awhile yet. Lin sprang eagerly into the air and both went between, following the call of the green. Here! Here they were! they called as they came from between. What was going on? Something interesting? Something fun?

Who was active? Scherzo was active! Scherzo loved things that sounded fun. Green Hinalle sounded fun, and she was looking for people! Maybe they would do fun things! He darted into the air, sending back a thought almost saying Blue Scherzo is looking for Green Hinalle! If she hid, he would seek her, and they would have fun!
But that was so difficult. He was a haphazard flier at best, rising and falling rather like a wave of blue. And every few seconds he was wildly chirping. He managed to get out of the place of food where the Girl was and into the hall, still limping along awkwardly, trying to find the adventure-seeker! Why he didn't go between to seek her, no one would know. Catching sight of another flit darting out of existence, he gave a curious little chirping noise, then followed them.
Someone else was interested in a meet-and-greet-fun-time. A large bronze flit uncurled himself from his location atop the leather-smelling place where his Person stored her wines when she was going for a ride on her blue dragon, yawning and revealing rows of sharp teeth. He gave a little leap into the air, disappearing into between with no other noise.
Near where he had been sleeping, little green Camo rolled over in her sleep and fell off the chest with a thump. She did not wake, still snoring from her location on the floor.

Other flitts meeting, flitts who could be her friends. Treasure chirruped to the big green, asking if it was alright for her to go?... Of course, the big green approved of her making lots of flitt friends; she should bring them all around to the weyr sometime and she and the rider would make sure there was lots of food for everyone.
Treasure rather liked this idea, but was preoccupied for the moment with the current meeting. Cheeping acknowledgment all the same, she flapped awkwardly into the air before blinking between, focused on the place the green had been most recently.
She spotted the other flitt after some moments of searching and called out a greeting, along with the thought that flying was hard work; she still wasn't very good at it. Still, she struggled on gamely, flapping her little wings madly as she tried to keep up with the more adept flier.

Okay, okay more were here and that was amazing! But where was Gold Song?
Hinalle bugled a greeting to all of those who came out from between near where she was, enjoying the sight of the little rainbow that seemed to be just popping out of thin air. There were many she'd never seen before, which translated to all of them she had never seen before, but that didn't keep her from calling them closer.
Okay okay, there are more here now and soon it'll be time to go! But where again is Gold Song?
It was a question she asked the others to see if they would know, since there were many here and many chances that at least someone else knew of the Green's clutch sib.

Flynxxerat woke and blinked. He'd always been a light sleeper, and Treasure's chirruping question to one of the large green ones had woken him. He missed what she was going on about, but with his bronze head cocked to one side he paid close attention and found that he could recognise a faint summoning. But he didn't recognise the one doing the summoning. Should he answer it?
He glanced down at his sleeping companion, the much-smaller green Satish, who was still sleeping soundly. Untangling himself from her would be a chore if she was asleep, but he didn't see any reason to wake her. He was only going to be gone briefly to see what was going on, after all. Besides, someone had to stay behind to protect his Jasrai. She wasn't as large or as intelligent as he was, but he'd seen that she could be fierce, and that would do. It was a gesture of colossal trust that Flynx would leave her to defend Jasrai by herself.
He extricated himself from the green's limbs and tail and neck and took to the air before winking between to find the other firelizards. It wasn't difficult. There were so many of them in one place, they would have been difficult not to notice. He wondered that no human had come across them yet and been mystified as he arrived and found himself surrounded by a larger gathering of flits than he could remember seeing.
He chirped a query: What was going on? Was there something wrong?
-----
Shiver had woken up when first he sensed a call. He was the very definition of light sleeper. His gaze darted to his person. Occupied. Hadn't really moved all night, except to shuffle papers and massage his temples ever so often. Nothing terrifically exciting there. Which was just how Shiv liked it. But despite his disdain for adventure and excitement, the neurotic blue firelizard couldn't help being curious about this all-'lizards call. He'd never experienced one of those. Maybe a dragon had done it? You had to do what dragons said, he knew for a fact, though he didn't know how he knew.
He whistled to Tofir, who glanced over at him to check that he wasn't about to throw up or something, and then went back to his reading, muttering about death tolls and symptoms. Nothing to interest him. And so with trepidation Shiv walked shakily to the edge of the table and then walked off it, spreading his wings to keep himself from falling, and then flapping quickly for a few seconds to gain lift and blink between.
Seconds later he arrived at a gathering of firelizards in time to hear a question about gold Song. He knew her. With a whistle, he attracted the attention of the green who had asked and pointed out that he knew her. Should he fetch her?

Treasure glanced around, taking in the identities of all the other new arrivals; so many! This was going to be fun, lots of new friends to make... Maybe she'd be friends with this Song too, when she was found. Right now however her little wings were getting tired; she was only small still the big green told her, she would get much better at flying. For now, she should just rest when she was tired.
Cheeping and picturing her intentions to the others, the striped flitt fluttered down to alight on a convenient bolder. The sun was bright, and the rock had soaked up its heat making it warmer than it was up in the air. Giving a contented croon, she shared this information with all the others as well; it was a big rock, there was probably room for all of them to land!

AHHHHH why was everyone going to be so far ahead of her? Gold Song was upset that she couldn't find the source of the call, her legs running along the floor of the tunnels as she tried to get to where she thought everyone might be. She recognized the call as that of Green Hinalle, her clutch sister and good clutch sister, but she couldn't get to where she was!
Sadly Song sent out a call back to all there, mostly to those who knew her, asking them all to help her find them! Song wanted to join, but she was lost!

Shiv looked around. Song definitely was not here. But she was trying to get here. She said so. He could find her, and he would! He whistled to the green that he would go find Song and bring her back, and then he took off toward where he thought she might be. It wouldn't be terrifically difficult to find her. She was gold, and she didn't fly, so she'd be on the ground. He could fly above and look for her. Easy as could be.
Flying very quickly, because that was really the only way he did anything, Shiv set off, whistling piercingly as though playing a game of Marco Polo. He knew his whistle was distinctive enough for Song to recognize it, and felt very clever for thinking of using it to find her. He was a clever firelizard sometimes, even if his Tofir said that he wasn't as smart as Song.
Song! Song, Song, Song! This way!
______
Flynx wasn't particularly interested in playing with other firelizards. He would have been content to see that there was no imminent danger to his Jasrai and return to sleeping on her pillow, but he was mildly interested in why Treasure was staying. And in interest of discovering that, he landed on the rock with her and chirped a question: What were they doing here?
