I've been into fungus like crazy for probably 3 years now. I'm in the local mycology society (though I don't have a degree... I mean, that isn't really a big thing either, since the president of the society is an amateur, too) and I love going to functions and hiking in the woods to find fungi I haven't seen before.

The public doesn't seem too interested in mushrooms, other than psilocybins and the button mushrooms you buy at the store.
I'd love to see some.. mycophiles on Gaia too!
