He grunted as he tried to grab her arm with his other hoof, but it was too late, he could feel his hoof slide out of her hold. "No!"

She felt her own grip slide and her eyes widened. "NO!" she cried out as the whirlpool carried her away and tossed her far and wide.

The current grabbed Solaris and flung him in the opposite direction.
