It's just a rumor right now; no screenshots or anything yet. But if it is true, it'd be another step closer to a true Mario/Sonic crossover (not counting Olympics here : P).

Just hope that Sonic's an easy unlockable character. From what I heard, Luigi was a nightmare to get in the first Galaxy.

Same here; I've never been able to get into the 3D Mario games. For a character who's prized as a jumping master, Mario controls like a kangaroo on crack. ("Ah, thanks Mario, thanks for doing a backflip into the abyss...")

Starting to doubt this rumor a bit more, though. You'd think something like this could circulate to more gaming sites, and I haven't seen any more of this since that article I posted. I suppose we can dream, eh?
