State Avenue- By Smiles
Chapter 1:
I wake up to the sound of air. That freaking wind! I open my eyes, and notice my bedroom was clear. Wait, this isn't my room. "Dad?" I ask. I stand up, and I find myself much much weaker. What is going on? I open the door, and the house is empty. No boxes, no nothing. "Dad?!" I yell out, only hearing myself echo. I start to pantic. I then run outside. I am on the boardwalk. But why?
I see many people, many faces I've never seen. I want to see my friends again. I want to see my father. As a tear rolls down my cheek, I check State Avenue, were my mother said to me, "If your father is ever lost, look for him there."
That was before she died.
I then begin to miss my mother. That freaking sign! I then travel over by State Avenue, and then on a bench by the Beach Entrence, I see my father, looking sad. My mouth opens, but nothing comes out. I am managing to get out, "Dad?" he is shaking his head, and he is saying, "Get out of here. Please.'' I look at him. "No, no! I wanna be with you!"
"Jessica, please, leave." he tells me, and I give him a ferm response. "Why..?"
''Dr. Foncil." he said. "He wants to kill us."
"Why..?" I repeat. "Because of our magic. We are the family of elementals. Your mother didn't really die, she took on your brother. You have the Element of Water, I have Earth, and your Brother has Fire and your mother has Air. Your Friends, Jenny and Sophia are apart of us too. Jenny has light/lightning and Sophia has darkness, which explains her goth ways." I look at him, as Jenny comes out and hugs me. "You're OK!" she tells me. "We need to leave." Sophia walks over, and sends a dark wave over to four of us. But, it is too late.
I see a man, with an evil smirk on his face. He then takes the shadow away, and then, everything goes black.
