Abel was taking powerful strides back to their room, when he saw Ana and Mark struggling. He came just in time to put one hand under each slave, keeping them from hitting the ground. "I've got him. You can come with us." He told Ana, taking them into his room. After setting Mark down on the bed, he led Ana there as well and went off in search of the nurse again.

Mark laid there and looked at Ana. "I am sorry you got dragged in my problems." She shook her head. "I am fine." He hugged her falling asleep. Ana sighed and sat up and got up to get him some water and aspirin.

Returning with the nurse, Abel noticed that Ana was gone. He let out a small sigh, seeing Mark was already asleep again. He sat at the side of the bed, requesting the nurse stay close by for now in case he woke up. Abel layed down beside him, looking at him with worry in his eyes.

Ana walked in with the water and aspirin.She sent it down and looked at Abel. "I am going to my room to sleep. Prince." She curtsied and left. Mark felt a warmth near him and he moved closer and snuggled into Abel. "Abel....." He mumbled in his sleep.

He gave a small nod to Ana, cuddling up with Mark again. He petted his hair gently, soothing him in his sleep. "Mark..." Abel replied, pecking his forehead gently.

Mark nuzzled him in his sleep and wrapped his arms around him. He laid his head in the crook of Abel's neck.

Mark seemed so vulnerable... Not as strong as most servants were... But Abel liked him that way. He had someone to care for and look after. It felt empowering to be depended on... As bad as that may sound.
