Basic Information
The gun is loaded by a top fed 50 round magazine, similar to the P90 except with a double wide magazine chamber, allowing the larger circumference bullets to remain in the style of clambering but still take up a limited space. Obviously, the gun uses the FN F2000 as it's base, and uses an essentially 'upside down' loading system, a different magazine, and has a different barrel, chamber, and ejection system, and guts some of the excess weight and recoil absorbing material that is unnecessary for a weapon using it's round. The weapons share a 75% part familiarity, and FN F2000's can actually be converted into FN-2001's, although this is not the primary source of production. The weapon uses a high velocity high powered round, for it's type of weaponry, which has a relatively flat trajectory. Although it's effective range extends out to only about 300m, statistically most fire fights only occur within 100 m, making the weapon a more than applicable weapon for fire fights. Although lacking in armor piercing ability as a large amount of comparable weapons are, if the right rounds are used it is still fully capable at piercing armor. Despite lacking roughly half velocity and possessing only roughly 59% of the energy, the round has a higher lethality rate, and it's design makes it both more likely to kill, deliver all of it's energy to the target, reduce the risk of overpenetration, and has the capability of being silenced by a match grade silencer. Being a high caliber round, the bullet can deliver a large amount of force quickly to a target, disabling or neutralizing it or them at a faster rate. The gun also has the capability of holding more ammo than it's opponents, and is much lighter, also being more controllable, having a higher rate of fire, being more accurate at close ranges, and produces less recoil. M-4's, that are comparable to it's statistics and also the lead weapon of it's actually a major weapon used by primary militaries, produce roughly the same amount energy between 100 and 200 meters, due to it's heavy weight allowing it to carry it's energy further and avoid problems like air resistance or wind.
