My brother (lolololol) wants to buy a guitar that'll give him a good clean rasta/reggae sound. So should he go electric-acoustic, or simply electric? Also: Good recommendations on specific guitars.

A good stratocaster will give you nice clean tones and a nice twangy sound that's good for reggae and ska.

I know of a couple of bands that use tele's and les pauls to get some reggae tones. But you can't go wrong with strats.
