I honestly cannot stand Macs at all. If someone offered me a mac I wouldn't even take it for free, except maybe to sell for a PC.

Well, no offense, but that makes you a bit ignorant. Mac OS X runs a lot smoother than Windows, it loads up faster, the interface is awesome, and it's almost impervious to viruses. I've never had an anti-virus program on my Mac, and I never even had so much as a single problem with viruses and spyware. They do exist, but they're VERY rare. And even if you're a PC Gamer, you do have the option of installing Windows on a Mac machine, which I have done, and it served me just fine.
I mean, it's one thing to say you prefer PCs to Macs, but to say that you wouldn't take one for free? That's just fanboying Microsoft.

And how many people know how to simply repair a Mac once it turns into a piece of crap after a year of use?

Well first of all, Macs work just fine after a year. They don't break down any more than PCs. And if you consider software, PCs have much less life than Macs. It's only a matter of time before a PC starts getting slow and sluggish, especially once the Hard Drive gets full. My Mac loads up as fast and functions just as well as when I first bought it.
Second... That's like saying, "I wouldn't want an Xbox 360 for free, because it's gonna break down after a year of use."
Yeah, I much rather prefer the PS3, but if a 360 just fell in my lap, or I won a contest or something, I'd keep it and play it.

I suppose we have had different experiences with our computers then.

The only reason I see to own a PC is if you can't afford a Mac. Yeah, that's one thing that I'll say, Macs are freakin expensive.
And I mean, there's people bitching that the PS3 is too expensive and that's why they have a 360. But there's a difference of $100 to $200. But a Macbook Pro is $3000, and a PC laptop with the same specs is about $500 - 1000, so the difference there is a lot more significant.
But still, you get what you pay for, and my Mac's never served me wrong.

I know how a PC works, not to mention I can do just about anything with them. I definitely like how adobe works with macs though.

I hate MACs too. Windows is pretty crap but I just prefer the way it's organised than a MAC. I don't like the way the documents are sorted out and it's useless for playing games on. It's much easier to fix errors and problems on a PC because you can access most of the files..on a MAC they just..don't exist lol or you can't easily access files. And it prefers to save everything on the desktop..ANNOYING. And I don't all the programs have multiple windows which you can minimize..I prefer it all to just be one window.

I think MACs are useful if you're working in the art industry and just need a computer to work on photographs or illustrations..but if you want anything else out of a computer, don't get a MAC lol. I hate Apple anyway...anything with an Apple logo on it instantly becomes "trendy" and popular even if it's a bag of rubbish lol. I don't like the way most Apple products are designed...the interface system on the ipods and MACs just seems "back to front"...I don't think it's simple and I don't know who comes up with the ideas for the user interfaces on any of their products but in my opinion they suck.

Macs are also gread for audio work, so if you're a musician, DJ, music producer, whatever, Mac is the way.
Who cares about playing games? That's what consoles are for.

There are alot of Pc games which aren't released on consoles though. I don't play any new PC games, just replay older ones that I loved as a kid.

Older games? Well, like I said, you CAN install Windows as a second OS on a Mac computer, and play those old games. That's what I did.

Besides, cut your losses. There's a lot of PC games that aren't released on the PS3, but so what? Yeah, I have a PC, but I doubt it's powerful enough to play them anyway. I mean, there's a lot of exclusive Xbox 360 and Wii games, I'm not gonna buy a 360 or a Wii just so that I have the access to all the games out there. What I'm saying is, I don't consider, "PC can play lots of games and Mac can't" a good argument as to why PCs are better.
I don't buy my computer based on which games it can play, like I said, that's what consoles are for. I buy my computer based on which programs it can run, and how well it can run them. And like I said, not having to worry that you'll go on some shady website and get a crapload of viruses or spyware is a huge factor, too.
A computer is not a gaming platform. Yes, there's lots of PC games out there, but the last thing I need a computer for is games, as much as I enjoy The Sims, or Still Life, or whatever.

Well, I can understand not liking to fall into trendy things, I'm the same way. But facts are facts, Apple makes great computers, and OS X is a more functional operating system than any Windows.
