Though slightly neglected over the past years, recently this area has been given new life. Know as the district where the mind is enlightened with the knowledge of books and the true power of the darkness. Some regard this area as special and consider it an important learning center of the city.

He really couldn't believe. He was almost tempted to throw out his arms and check to see if it was an illusion. He resisted, but only because he was bounded back shock.
The supposed city of the Masked Lord. And its Temple district was populated with scholars and a few clerics. Other people merely passed through blindly heading towards the City and Market districts. Not even the thieves that Valdaer had seen, had stopped to offer anything.
Its amazing the City is still standing, He thought strolling along with a crowd pressing forward blind to the knowledge they passed. The opportunity to power. He sighed, I shouldn't really talk, but even at home. People went because they wanted the god's favor on they're City. So that it could continue. But, who am I to talk. I rarely come here myself.

Ironclaw and a few others dug through what was left of the Temple of Bones. Under the watchful gaze of Val'atar's elite guards. He appeared to be another looter seeking anything valuable to sell.
Part of that was true. what he sought was valuable indeed. but only to him. Pocketing a few trinkets to maintain the ruse, he moved into the graveyard. pushing aside fallen gravemarkers, carefully reading each one as he did. Finally he found what he was looking for. The gravestone was one of the newer ones and was luckily still in good condition. The mercenary worked quickly to dig the casket out and pry open the lid. The body inside was decaying quickly. The poor creature had been skinned shortly after death. A heavy shudder ran through Ironclaw's spine as the memory resurfaced. Holding his breath he moved the corpse and removed a few possesions while subtly pocketing a tissue sample. Job completed he slipped away from the site, pausing to look back at the ruins. "Even gods bleed." he muttered to himself with a slow nod before returnign to the crowd. There was still much to be done in Au'Shinduago.

alone once more, Valthier headed off into the College and Temples Disrict, in search of Vhaeraunite priests. as he got to the district, he had to stop and take a look around.
everything looked so different. some buildings were ruined, others had their colours changed, the place was worn and torn, ad looked more like a ghetto than a distinguished district of power and knowledge.
in one lot, a looter fled the scene of a pile of rubble. the surrounding buildings looked so familiar...
Val's eyes went wide. "no... it isn't..." he ran up to the lot, and sure enough, the rubble had the tell-tale signs. there were skulls, bones, ragged shreds of green and silver and black cloth.
"heh." he started. "heheheh... the chuckling continued. finally, he burst out into hysterical laughter, making quite the spectacle of himself.
when he finally got control of himself, he began to search through the rubble for traces of his old portal, and any personal items he may have left behind. he'd have to destroy the portal if it still had any traces left, else it would be a risk of invasion to his very bedroom.
"gyah... i must look like a madman...." he muttered.
