Explore the island, catch Pokemon that are sent to Professor Oak or whoever the Professor is in the Region you started in.
Also, this is not the only place to find wild Pokemon. You can find Pokemon in the Barton Outskirts. A ferry or train ride away if you don't want to tire your Pokemon out.
