Over the summer I met this guy who worked at this store that I often go to. We talked and got a long and he seemed like he was flirting with me. He would wave, smile, have long conversations with me when no one was around, tell me things like "tonight's there's a meteor shower you should watch it" or "the sunset was so beautiful today" and so on. So, I eventually got up the nerve to give him my # and ask him out on a date. Welllll he told me (in the nicest way possible) that he was actually engaged (i got the feeling this was very recent) and that he couldn't and he hinted at there being to large of an age difference (7yrs). But I still feel like he had feelings for me. At any rate, the summer ended but before it did (AND AFTER THE AWKWARD PHONE #/DATE THING) he gave me his number and said to call him and that he was fine with just hanging out. Well obviously I didn't want to because 1. he was engaged and 2. I felt embarrassed from my last attempt to be close with him. But then yesterday, after not speaking with him since August I txted him and we talked for about an hour and the topic came up of his engagement and he told me that they had ended it at the beginning of the new year. after talking some more about college and other stuff he said, I quote (ie this is the text msg) " smile have you got plans this weekend?" of course I said no to which he replied " biggrin well i've got some time during the day mebe we could meet up for a bit, do a walk or coffee or just chillax" to which I said either is fine and we'll make it happen. SO this saturday we're going for coffee and a walk on the beach (it's the PNW so it's cold and miserable but still pretty so not the most romantic thing). Is this a date?

You should ask him. Clarification would be nice. You don't want to assume it's a date. Asking would be less embarrassing then assuming.
Have fun! ;D

WiseWitch1313 Also, what should I wear? Nothing fancy. c: Just wear something you are comfortable in.
