The background to this clan is only familiar to that of Yamato... Shitake Kurosuna was an experiment after Gaara of the Sand. Originally, the sand was to create a new clan to continue the legacy, using the elements of wind and earth it was supposed to go well, however, one scientist decided to go further into the project and create an ultimate weapon, adding in other elements, water, lightening, and fire. It was not supposed to go that far, but he risked it, spending years on a secret project known as Shitake. This scientist admired 1 of the long passed legendary Sannin, Orochimaru, the shinobi that made Yamato, the scientist wanted his fame! Anyways, though 2 of his test subjects turned out to be a fail, 1 became something more than he had planned. The 2 mixtures of wind + earth made regular sand jutsu, lightening + earth, made iron sand, but earth + fire became something more than he had planned, Black Sand. To add more speed and depth into the clan he added wind and thus, Shitake Kurosuna was created, born powerful, an ultimate weapon, still questionable.

Kekkei Genkai Effect: By combining both his elements [Wind]+[Earth]+[Fire], Shitake is able to turn and manipulate the sand around him. After that, he has made a way to produce and channel his Fire element to the sand, making the sand harder than rock and as hot as fire. Because it's a combination of elements that is rarely used, he waste slightly more chakra than the normal shinobi. The sand will have a black color into it, thus, making it so hot that scorching flames could be seen sprouting from the sand. Giving the notice that fire is the source of this Kekkei Genkai, the more fire chakra put in it the hotter it can get. Everybody that is part of this clan tend to have about 4 holes their body around their chest area, just for the fact that the users of this clan can resist many heated temperatures. A member of this clan has sand within they're body just as the Aburame. Therefore they can manipulate the sand in their bodies and the sand will come out from the holes in which they have embedded into they're chest area.

If an opponent comes into physical contact the exploding sand will damage the opponent as they are touched by the burst of sand. Shitake's will then appear nearby in another location safely away from the ensuing explosion.

He is capable of sending an opponent flying several yards away with a single punch and is also capable of breaking a large boulder into several pieces. From the tip of his gauntlet fingers he is able to grow claw-like extensions with which he can cause a good amount of damage to an opponent. With any other command Shitake can once again manipulate the black needles directly at the opponent in the form of a black sand rain or shower attacking the enemy from every possible direction.

Description: Shitake is able to use his black sand to create a dark colored katana; the blade is quite sharp and durable, since it is made by gathering iron particles from the surrounding area into his hand. He is able to wield it with great efficiency and is capable of cutting a large boulder in half with it. The reason for the blade's sharpness is due to the vibrating iron particles that forms the black sand sword thus giving it a chainsaw like effect. He is even able to manipulate and extend the blade by turning it into a whip like weapon thus increasing its range.

Description: By using the ability to manipulate the black sand, Shitake reshapes the black sand around the opponent in the form of a large box of black sand which surrounds a target, which is then pierced by dozens of black sand "spears", lacerating the one trapped inside the box from head to toe. Its appearance and function is reminiscent of a common magician's trick, as well as certain torture devices used during the Spanish Inquisition. This technique requires a large amount of chakra to perform; as such Shitake usually uses it as a trump card or to finish the battle quickly. When using the chakra enhanced black sand Shitake is able to make the black box coffin explode with a simple hand gesture, thus causing a large amount of damage to the opponent trapped inside the black coffin. He also seems to use a variation of the technique with the same name, in which he encases an opponent with large amount of black sand rather then trapping them in a box coffin. Shitake uses this variation to immobilize the opponent and can also use it to suffocate an opponent.

Description: By using the black sand Shitake is able to condense mud, sand, soil, and stone, from beneath the earth surface, and then shape them into spikes that will protrude from the ground in order to skewer the target. In order to do this he must send back the black sand into the earth's surface where the sand will then mix with the minerals underground and from then on Shitake is able to use the black sand to create the earth spears from beneath the ground. Shitake can also create several numbers of earth pillars that will protrude from the ground to skew the target. The earth pillars will pass through most obstacles to reach their intended target

Description: After performing the necessary hand signs, Shitake will expel sand little by little in particles of sand so that it cannot be seen. The sand will travel along the area in which the battle or the destination is being taken place. These small particles will be gathering and sticking around the target or targets. Once they stick around the opponent, these small portions of black sand will become harden and start to act as a magnet to other sand around it. The rest of the sand will than quickly stick to the opponent trapping him, her, or them so that they are immobilized. (This jutsu can keep the target trapped or do further damage by heating the sand up.)

Anyone coming into contact with these Crows will instantly be caught in an explosion which can deal physical damage, this is because Shitake uses his own charka to enhance the black sand and as such causes the Crows to explode. This technique is perfect to overwhelm a single opponent or take out a large number of targets. When no longer needed, he is able to turn the crows back into black sand.

Description: One of Shitake's most powerful weapon based techniques, he claims that this unique weapon is even more powerful than his Vibrating Katana. In order to create the spear he must use the chakra enhanced black sand that he usually keeps stored away. Shitake will manipulate and reshape the chakra enhanced black sand into the form of a long spear or javelin like weapon. He will then throw the weapon which travels at incredible speed and will explode upon impact causing a large explosion, the reason for this is because Shitake uses his own chakra which is infused with the black sand and as such is able to make the spear explode. He mainly uses it as a projectile weapon but sometimes he can also wield it as a physical weapon.

These missiles will seek out its target until the target has been completely incapacitated. The black sand bird is also able to defend itself from projectile attacks and will keep Shitake safe for most of the time.

Though it can be said that, the black clone's form can be changed instantly back into black sand, and the sand can be used to trap an enemy's body. It has long-range attack applications and can be used to either lure an enemy or act as a decoy. This is where it draws the line with other clones. Shitake is able to use a Black Sand Clone as a body replacement in order to avoid incoming or fast attack.

The area will cover about 20 ft radius around Shitake.

Description: In order to use this technique Shitake must use his chakra enhanced black sand, he will manipulate the chakra enhanced black sand and also used resources like earth, mud, soil, and even regular sand from the surrounding area and the earth's surface to form a gigantic black colored golem. By reshaping all the minerals collected from the surroundings he is able to create a large human shaped earth golem, he can use the golem to attack enemies or use it as a shield to defend himself from enemy assaults. He is able to control one giant golem and three small golems at any given time and uses various hands movements to control the golems. They are made to perform defense and are akin to moving shields, because of this they normally won't attack unless they are controlled or ordered to do so. The golem has a fair amount of brute strength, being able to tear off flesh of an opponents with its hands. The size and shape of an individual golem differs greatly and can be due to a number of factors, from role and existing materials on hand to the preferences or style of the user that created them, as such Shitake.

He will either use it to form a complete sphere shield around himself or will use the black sand to create a defensive wall to protect him from fast incoming attacks.

The Black Sand Serrated Saws have a high decapitating strength, and are strong against higher defenses.

Description: By drawing out a large amount of black sand from the surrounding area Shitake is able to create a massive amount of black sand that travels towards an opponent at fast speeds in the form of a wave, covering and "drowning" them in a burning ocean of sand. The large wave of black sand will rise up to about several feet above the opponent. Shitake is able to control the flowing black sand wave, allowing him to attack his opponent while they attempt to outrun the wave. The technique is powerful enough to devastate an entire landscape, as Shitake is able to destroy acres of forest land turning it into nothing but a wasteland with occasional dead trees. This technique requires a large amount of chakra to perform but can also be used to take out a large number of opponents due to the fact that it is almost virtually unavoidable. Once the Sand settles, Shitake can do further damage by hardening the sand crushing every bone in an opponents body.

Description: Shitake will let Black Sand particles slowly fill the air floating and moving slowly across the battle field. Shitake will be standing there doing nothing, but the target or targets will be caught in the gen jutsu at this point. For every jutsu the target uses, his chakra will decrease a lot more than what it normally would, it takes more focus to use a jutsu, the targets movements will be decreased dramatically, and damage is a lot more crucial. The target will think that it is the black sand causing all these effects, but in reality they are caught in a gen jutsu. The sand will slowly burn they're body on the outside and if the user does not break from this jutsu all chakra will be sucked and they'll suffer burns so bad they will become paralyzed, and they're body will feel like they are on fire. However, Shitake in the end suffers a major energy loss, movements become slower and his reaction time is reduced dramatically, even if the gen jutsu is broken. However, this jutsu cannot be broken out of by a simply kai [release] jutsu due to the fact that the black sand is still floating within the air they are still liable to be caught in the jutsu. The sand gets in through their eyes, ears, noes and mouth to mess with their chakra flow in their head. Basically, if they use a jutsu that breaks free of the gen jutsu, they will only think they are free, but in reality they are still stuck in a gen jutsu. However, Shitake is rendered defenseless at this point as the jutsu takes major focus.

He uses this technique only against the most powerful opponents or taijutsu masters. An opponent attempting to block this punch will not only get sent flying, but will risk breaking their arms.

The scientist raised Shitake as his own child secretly for years training him and making him an ultimate weapon. However, he made a crucial wrong move when he turned 12, he tried putting him into the academy, he was sentenced death for breaking various rules at that point once they found out. Shitake, innocent as he was, was also to be killed and the project was to be shut down and all data for creating Gaara's legacy was to be destroyed. However, Shitake was not going to go down easy, he thought why should he be killed for something he did not do, it was not his choice to be born that way. How he was able to escape the village was not a question, his jutsu was powerful and dangerous!!! It had been months since Shitake has been alone and away from civilization, even a group known as the Akatsuki wanted him and his power, but he turned it down, killing the 2 members that were sent to capture him. One day, he was caught in a battle between shinobi from than sand that was meant to capture him. Over thinking his abilities, these shinobi were special for the task, Shitake was no match, but he did manage to escape using his jutsu wisely, but his chakra was low, and his destination was unknown as all he wanted was away from the 3 shinobi. Shitake ended up near a village known as Kagegakure where he ran into 3 more shinobi from that village, he could not fight back, his chakra was wasted and his energy was drained, he passed out upon sight of the shinobi and was captured. Because he wore no head band, it was unclear to what village he was from or even if he was a shinobi or not, thus, he became a study project. What they found was unclear, but they then knew he had to be from the sand Village. Clan Name: Hyuuga
Clan Description: The Hyuuga clan were one of the founding noble families of Leaf village. The clan itself is said to be the ancestors of the Uchiha clan who possess the bloodline of the Sharingan eye. Each clan member possess the "Byakugan" or "White Eye."
These great powers lead to internal strife within the family. Because the eye grants such a unique and powerful ability, the clan became possessive and over-protective of it. Seeing only the main family as worthy users and inheritors of the eye, the heads of the clan began to place restrictions on those branch family members not in power. What resulted were two Hyuuga lines, the powerful main family who would represent the line, and the branch family who were directed to protect the main family and bear the cursed seal.
The cursed seal is placed on the foreheads of branch family members. It serves as a means to protect the secrets of the Hyuuga Byakugan eye. If the branch family member was to ever betray the main family or be killed in battle, the seal would be activated to destroy the body's secrets. Thus forcing the branch family to further bow to the will of the main family.
Clan History: The Hyuuga clan’s history has not been discussed much. The Hyuuga clan have a kekei Genkai abilitiy called the byakugan. The byakugan gives the Hyuuga clan a great advantage. It allows them to have nearly 360 degrees of vision, the ability to see the iternal chakra coil system 361 pressure points. You can see why the Hyuuga clan is highly respected. This power caused a rift in the family. The Hyuuga clan split into two parts. The main family and the branch family. The main family controlled the branch family. I will now explain how the main family controlled the branch family and what classifies as a branch member.
The Hyuuga clan is known for putting a cursed seal on the branch members of the clan. From all the reading I have done it, the seal is known as the juin seal. Another name that I have heard is the caged bird seal. When children of the branch family are three or four years old, the cursed seal is put on them. The cursed seal is applied for many reasons. One reason is that the Hyuuga clan is very protective about the secrets of the byakugan. When a branch member dies, the cursed seal disappears and takes the secret of the byakugan with it. Basically the cursed seal destroys the byakugan. That way no one can discover how the byakugan works. A more important reason why the cursed seal is applied is that the seal can be used as a weapon by the main family. When the cursed seal is activated, it causes severe pain. Brain cells can be damaged and in some cases even death. All that is needed to activate to seal is the flick of the hand or the wrist. Some main branch members even activated the seal as punishment. They could even threaten to activate the seal on branch members. Because of the threat, many branch members did what they were told. The branch family was being used as pawns by the main family.
A member of the branch family can be born in the main family, but due to their fate they are considered a branch member. Take for example Hizashi Hyuuga. Hizashi is Neji’s father and brother to Hiashi Hyuuga. Hiashi is Hinita and Hanabi’s father. Both brothers are twins but because Hizashi was born a few seconds after Hiashi, he is considered a branch member of the family. His fate was sealed when he was born and had the cursed seal applied to him. As you can see, only the oldest child in the main family is destined to be the heir of the clan. All the secrets are passed on like how to apply the cursed seal and how to use it to keep branch members in line. Branch members are also not taught the full secrets of the byakugan and the advanced gentle fists fighting technique.
Hizashi resented being a branch member. He wished that Neji, his son would not have the cursed applied to him. Hizashi even wished that Neji could learn the advanced techniques of the gentle fist. To prove a point and to keep Hizashi in check, Hiashi activated Hizashi’s seal in front of Neji. This shows the main branch is very cruel. Hizashi did not die from the seal being activated but was in immense pain.
Some time later, an attempt was done to kidnap Hinita. The village of Koumogakure wanted to know the secrets of the byakugan. Hiashi was able to stop and kill the kidnapper from Kumogakure. The village of Kumogakure want retribution for the death of their fallen comrade. To keep the peace the third hokage agreed to send the murderer to Kumogakure for punishment. Hiashi was willing to go but Hizashi insisted that he took Hiashi’s place instead. Both brothers were identical so Kumogakure would not know the difference until it was to late. Hizashi agreed to take Hiashi’s place to protect his brother. He was not forced to go by the main family. The secrets of the byakugan would not be revealed to outsiders. I believe this was a turning point in how the Hyuuga main family operated.
Neji grew up believing that his father was forced to sacrifice himself to protect the main family. After Neji lost to Naruto at the chunin exams, Hiashi gave a letter to Neiji written by Neji’s father eplaining his death. Hiashi fealt ashamed for the past sins that he had done and asked for forgiveness. Hiashi also started to train and show the advanced getle fist technique to Neji. Hiashi I believed also stopped putting the cursed seal on members of his clan. In the past, branch members could be younger siblings to the heir. If this is true then Hanabi, Hinita’s younger sister, should of had the seal applied to her by her father. Hanabi from my understanding did not have the cursed seal applied to her by her father. All of this is leads me to believe that because of Hizashi’s actions Hiashi changed the ways of the Hyuuga clan. It looks like the Hyuuga clan changed for the good.
As you can see the Hyuuga clan has a dark past. Through time and self sacrifice, the Hyuuga clan changed their ways for the better. Lets hope it stays that way.
Kekkei Genkai Name: Byakugan
Kekkei Genkai Effect: When the "Byakugan" is activated, the clan member gains an extra-sensory perception, which gives them penetrating sight and telescopic vision. This allows them to see the internal chakra circulation system in other beings. This vision also grants the member a near 360° view of their surroundings. The higher the skill of the clan member, the further the distance from which they can sense incoming attacks. Unfortunately the vision does have a weakness, a small blindspot that extends outwards from their upper back.
The clan uses this ability in conjunction with their own chakra creating the Juuken (gentle fist) fighting style. By focusing the chakra to their finger tips, they can press the tenketsu or chakra pressure points of their opponents body. When the finger nears the tenketsu the chakra is forced out, collasping the targetted tenketsu for a period of time. The tenketsu serve as the connectors and exit points for the chakra pathways. So when they are stopped by the Hyuuga clan member, the ninja greatly loses his or her ability to utilize their chakra for jutsu.

Eight Divination Signs Destructive Mountain Fist: Hakke Hasangeki is a Taijutsu technique used by the Hyuuga bloodline. Extending chakra from the body, the user will thrust they're palm into they're target. This will send out a wave of chakra that will knock the opponent backwards into nearby rocks to cause further damage. It is unknown if this wave can also collapse the target's tenketsu points.
Eight Divination Signs Air Palm: Hakke Kuushou is a ranged Taijutsu technique used by the Hyuuga bloodline. Extending chakra from the body, The user will thrust they're palm at they're target. This will send out an invisible wave of chakra that can knock the opponent back. It is unknown if this wave can also collapse the target's tenketsu points.
Eight Divination Signs, Sixty-Four Palms of the Hand: Hakke Rokujuuyonshou is a Taijutsu technique unique to the Hyuuga bloodline. Hakke Rokujuuyonshou is a special technique passed down through the main family line. When an opponent is within the clan members divination field of attack, they can quickly begin their assault. The technique allows the clan member to use the Byakugan eye to see the inner chakra coils system. Using the Jyuuken style, they can force their chakra through their hands into the tenketsu of the opponent's body through 126 strikes. First the clan member will strike 2 times, then 4, 8, 16, 32 and finally 64. This damage forceably closes 64 tenketsu, stopping the chakra flow of the opponent. This then limits their opponents ability to use jutsu.
Eight Divination Palms of the Hand, Heavenly Spin: Hakkeshou Kaiten is a Taijutsu technique unique to the Hyuuga bloodline using the Jyuuken. Kaiten is a special technique passed down through the main family line. Kaiten takes advantage of several of the unique abilities of the Byakugan eye. Byakugan gives the clan member an almost complete 360 degree view of their surroundings. This allows the member to see all angles of attack. If an attack is near, the clan member will release a large of amount of chakra from their tenketsu. The member then begins to spin like a top, creating a whirling vortex that can nullify almost any attack.
Gentle Step Twin Lion Fist: Juuho Soushiken is a Taijutsu technique utilized by Hyuuga Hinata. After gathering chakra to her fists, Hinata will skillfully spin towards her target to avoid attack and strike them. Spectral lion heads will then form around her fists.
Guardian Eight Divination Signs, Sixty-Four Palms of the Hand: Shugo Hakke Rokujuuyonshou is a Taijutsu technique developed the Hyuuga clan. The user will emit chakra from they're palms and move they're arms in sweeping pattern movements to provide a full 360 degree range of protection for the body. This chakra will be also be able to cut through most any target which dares penetrate the protective sphere. By expelling a more sharper, stronger and more flexible amount of chakra, the user can increase it's effectiveness against more massive incoming objects.
