The clamoring of other cats was not something that Erasmus had become used to, he generally tried to stay to the more secluded areas, forest and the park.. But tonight was different. He wanted to take his new-found obsession to a place he had only heard about from Satine, one of his mothers. Aika's Spotlight... Many cats had been scouted from here in previous years, from what he was told, and it seemed to be a happening place. He looked to the clock on the wall, he was there thirty minutes early, he adjusted the collar his wrinkle free white and olive oriental suite to hide the scar that others had worn so proud. It was no burden to him, but it was not something he wished to flaunt. He looked up to the clock again as another performer stepped on stage to preform Since You've Been Gone, he knew it wouldn't be the only time he would hear that song tonight.
A waitress came to his table, "Would you like anything to drink? Rum and Coke perhaps?" Erasmus laughed to himself and looked up to the waitress. "Just a glass of water would be fine. Thank you. I'm waiting for someone, so when she get's here, we may order a dish or two." The waitress nodded with a smile, "Sure thing. One water coming up" with that she bound off. Erasmus turned back to the stage, occasionally looking back to the door to see if he could catch sigh of Hiyori coming in.

Hiyori was walking outside of the building and chewed on her lip as she worried about going inside the building. She drummed her nails on her note book and wondered if he would want her to sing...She could and others had told her she was very good at singing and she loved it but she was nervous about doing it infront of others she didn't know. She took a deep breath and walked into the place she was to meet Era...her Era. She blushed and smiled to her self as she looked around at all the neat people in the bar. She looked for Era and saw him at a table already. She walked over towards him and smiled as she sat down. "Hello, i'm not late am i?" she asked. She had spent a long while wondering what to do outside and hadn't looked at her watch lately. She looked over him and smiled. "You look very nice today. I don't think i dressed up enough." she said with a laugh as she looked at her black pants and gray half shirt. At least her hair always looked nice. She blushed softly and looked up at him with a smile.

The singing stopped and a crowd cheered for the female who joyfully bound off the stage. His ears perked, her voice, even with all of the noise he was able to pick up on it. His eyes lit up and a smile stretched across his face as he turned to see Hiyori. As she sat down, he stood, took her hand and kissed it before returning to his seat. "You late..? No, Miss Hiyori, you can never be late with me, I'll wait forever for you." He looked into her eyes and smiled, his heart fluttered.
"I look nice..Hmm Normal clothes for me dear, in fact...I feel more out of place here, though you, my doll, you look more amazing than anyone here." He blushed and took her hands into his. The waitress came back in that same instance with his water, took her long enough. Erasmus couldn't pull his eyes away from Hiyori.
"Thank you miss. Hiyori, would you like anything?"

Hiyori smiles at him as he kiss's her hand and sat down again. She looked around. "This place is really nice. Lots of interesting people. I should be able to get alot of notes on all this." she said with a smile as he took her hand and held it and the waitress came over. She smiled and nodded. "Just a little fish and maybe a sprite, if you got it." she said with a smile. She wasn't in the mood to drink right now, she wanted to observe and be able to give him her thoughts with no hinderance cause of the drinking...and she didn't want to make a fool of her self or say something silly to scare him off. "I think you look great...but i guess i'm ok looking too." she said with a smile as she looked around wondering if he would sing too.

Erasmus held the smile that danced on his lips, it would seem like his facial muscles would tire at any moment, but he would still smile. He looked around for a moment at all of the other cats who seemed to be interesting, but turned back to Hiyori, his attention caught by no other. "If you only knew how you looked. You shine brighter than anyone else here, whether in a ball gown or in rags, you still would look beautiful." He looked to the stage as two cats stepped on stage to do a duet, he hoped he would get the courage to go up there and sing a song, perhaps one that Hiyori would choose.
"I thought you might like it here, there are many different Cats here. Besides, you may even get to hear me sing tonight. Would you like that..?" He questioned. He wanted to ask her if she enjoyed singing, but he would wait for a little while, it didn't have to be rushed, they had some time.
"Do you drink..? Alcohol?" He asked before taking a sip from his glass of water. He did on occasion but not often, though if she wanted to, he would watch over her, and the other toms in the building as well. She was too pretty to be alone. "I do on occasion, but I like control, knowing what's going on around me." His ears folded back for a moment as the mics gave off feedback, as did most of the other cat''s in the buildings.

Hiyori smiled and blushed as Erasmus complimented her. She glanced up at the stage and the two cats that got up there and watched them for moment mentally taking notes on them and the song they picked to sing. She would write everything down in her journal later cause right now she was having to much fun with Erasmus. Hiyori brought her attention back to him when he asked her if she would like to hear him sing. "I would love to hear you sing Era!" She said with a smile and a soft purr. "Maybe we could sing a song together? I think it would be a lot of fun." Hiyori watched Era and softly brushed her hand against his. "I don't really drink alcohol, on occasion i will. But I like to stay sober so i can write things down in my journal as they happen." She said with a shy smile.

The song began and the crowd cheered, they must have been regulars here. He glanced at the stage with a worried look and then back to Hiyori with a smile. She suggested a duet, that was something he would love to do, he lifted her hands into his palms and held them there.
"I would love that. I think it would be great. Do you like to sing?" He looked back to the stage, the couple sang well together, would it be the same for them? He looked back as the waitress brought Hiyori's fish and sprite.
"Thank you Miss." He said, the waitress nodded her head and hurried back to one of her other tables. "Do you like crowds like this? Or do you prefer to be in more quite areas?" He wanted to know as much as he could about her.

Hiyori blushes a little when Era takes hold of her hands. "Yeah i like to sing but i've never sang in front of anyone before." She usually sang when she was along in the forest exploring. "How about you Era, do you like to sing? Have you ever sang in front of a crowd before?" She asked she smile on her face. She was really enjoying his company. "Tell me more about yourself Era, i want to know everything about you." She asked as she scooted closer to him.
