It can be anything from the material on the inside (the actual story)or the material on the outside of the book(ex:the cover page)

What I hate is when the story becomes too easily predictable, or its a story that is overused in the classroom. Dull books I don't understand, or takes a long time to get >.>
I don't like books when it's too nice and everyone lives in the end "happily ever after". Lol yeah a bunch of things I don't like >.> User Image

if the book gets turned into a movie then gets spammed everywhere and people call it "advertising"

it doesnt matter to me what it is about, if they spam it, i dont like it

I like books, time to time i like to read them, but the one thing i hates the most if the book becomes a motion picture and doesnt even come close the the book itself. Like Eragon, the book was great, but the movie P.U. it was the worst, it wasnt even close to the story line of the book.

Yeah of course, books are ALWAYS better than the movie in most cases.

And yes, I love to read books, but hate excessive advertising and when you can guess what's gonna happen after not even reading half way into the book. -___-

yeah they totally nerfed the movie e.e

1) eragon's dragon didnt grow up that fast
in the movie it was like "omg the egg hatched next scene its fully grown and its like we are bonded without showing any proof of it"

2) the elf never smiled in book 1 as i recall but she did in the movie

3) when i saw it with my friend for their birthday the movie kept being interupted because it would switch to the "thank you for not smoking in the theaters" screen...

so i, sitting in the very back row, stood up on my chair and took the liberty of providing entertainment via shadow puppets.

my show got more of an applause then eragon did

also i know i sound like im picking on ever single detail and...well
i am xD
but dont get me wrong the books are suprisingly well written with a great story for an author who is so young

i hate when books have words
and i have to look at them to read

i mean come on

when are books going to start talking to me
thats what NEEDS to happen

or a book that sucks u in and lets u ride

For me some of the endings I get really into a book and they sometimes just end it like skipping years and then it's like the end.

For me that I find out what seems to be a good harlequin romance novel when I read the excerpt than it turns out to be really crappy... that happened to me quite a few times crying .

The Eragon movie was really horrible. The thing I hated the most was that the ending didn't even leave it open for the second book which was really really good. The thrid book was good too. If they were gonna make the movie they should of planned to do the whole cycle.

What I hate is when the movies are completely different than the book. Especially when the ending is soooo different. I feel like it takes away from the meaning in the story

Same with the Voyage of the Dawn Treader and the Bridge to Terabithia movie, those two movies were awful, and the books were a whole lot better.
