Hi, I is Shaos X. I've been in this guild for years I think and not once have I asked for any criticism on my stuff from others before. Nowadays with the Gaia Guild format the way it is, I'm seeing a lot of art put up by people in this place and I've been lurking, lurking and never submitting.
SO, I scanned a few images done this month, some OC's, some fanart, and I'd like to get the opinion of others on where I could improve. Also, any help on drawing things like weapons would be appreciated. I've been struggling to draw basic guns for who knows how long.
One of the first sketches of an OC I've been meaning to draw for a while. Naomi Matsushita. Also a headshot of another OC is off to the side.
School doodle of another OC, Melanie Lee, as well as random doodles of Megamang and Persona 4 stuff.
Zantetsken doodle done around 1 AM today. Kinda wanted to draw the avatar due to the daily drawings, and the fact that the avatar reminds me of River City Ransom.
Edit: After looking at Zan's website and other stuff, I guess his avatar is River City Ransom after all. Aww BARF!
XJ-9 drawing done earlier in January. Also Bender, but I can't draw Bender at all.
Katamari Queen done with a sharpie. Only decent thing I've drawn with a sharpie actually.

Very cute style, love the cute guy in the right hand corner on 2nd page. Like your bender-esque char in the last sketch, would be interesting to see him developed further. I can't really think of a critique because it seems you're quite a blossoming artist and you have a unique style already pinned down.

Thanks for appreciating the sketches! That Bender-esque character in the last sketch IS Bender, and he was kind of a 30 second doodle I plopped down to fill negative space for the hell of it. Been trying recently to learn how to draw dynamic poses for a character like Bender, but his waist and leg area are so damn awkward to draw properly. Maybe I should have used the page to try expressions with XJ-9 sweatdrop .
Shame there's no critique here, but hey, guess I gotta keep trying to get some. Thanks though!
