Some people think it's a waste of time,
Others say it's a day for confessions.
What do you think?

--> I think it as just a normal day... with overly used pink and red stuff.

I think it's a day to encourage people to increase the population and eat a heck of a lot of chocolate.
I myself prefer cinnamon hearts.

I like Valentine's Day. The holiday insights a romantic atmosphere without any actual work on the individuals part. I view this holiday as an excuse to spend time with a loved one, or confess to someone you love. <3

Though I also agree with those who commented that it is a consumer holiday. Any holiday that involves gifting can be tagged as such (including birthdays).

The very best Valentine's Day gift is a romantic gesture...one that's not chocolate!

I treat it like Easter, except with out the eggs and more hearts XD. Probably because I have no one to really do thing for in rl.

Personally I think it's the population at large's way of making the single person feel like crap!
