...actually, Elanore just had a painfully normal upbringing--except she grew up in Death City, which sadly explains a lot about her personality. Her family consists of technicians, so it was weird for her to come out as a weapon, even if it is kind of a lame one. Regardless, she graduated Shibusen several years ago as a Death Scythe and has recently come back to teach.
Her family gave up on Elanore every getting married and settling down. Her sister is the normal one.
