As a character overall, L because he got waaaay more development. All we know about Matt is that he's friends with Mello, he's a smoker, and he loves video games.
But I still have a strong attraction to Matt because he reminds me of my boyfriend crush, whose name is also Matt. He also has a problem with video games, so... 3nodding
