He stood outside where he knew Vidya's room to be kind of gazing at it thoughtfully. She was probably used to young men climbing to her window and knocking and demanding some time with her. He was different, though, he was her Cousin after all - adopted cousin but a cousin none-the-less. He shifted from one foot to the other as he scratched at his fuzzy chin and hummed thoughtfully before he decided to just go for it.

Armel went about the process of getting to Vidya's window with all the stealth and subtly of an ox but luckily, for the most part, no one woke up (he hoped). When he got to Vidya's window he tapped at the glass to get her attention feeling like a bit of a fool but he couldn't wait until morning to see his cousin. It seemed silly and besides being his cousin meant she got a few perks, right? Like being among the first to see him when he returned.

Vidya hadn't been in her room when Armel started the process of climbing up to it, which was probably a good thing as his lack of grace more than likely would have scared the daylights out of her. She had been in a different part of the house, tucking a younger sibling in for the night, and returned to her room just in time to hear the tap on her window. Startled and rightfully so, the Nymph wandered over to it, knowing her room well enough to navigate it without tripping.

"Hello?" She asked quietly after opening her window; she knew someone was there, it was WHO was there that was the surprise to her. There was nothing surprising about someone being at her window though, it seemed a common way to get her attention at night. "Who is it?" Vidya asked, despite 'looking' right at the figure.

He hung there like a sack of potatoes for the moment before Vidya finally answered to his call. Armel's golden eyes stared up at the sightless eyes of his cousin and smirked a bit. He could toy with her, play a little trick, but that would be cruel indeed. No he would speak to her as a normal man with some sort of honor or two. His voice was much deeper but otherwise it was unmistakable as to who it was, "'Ey 'Coz," he said simply from his precarious place.

"Mind lettin' me in 'ere? I'm not like yer suitors, I'm 'fraid." Being this far up and away from the ground, even though it was only the second story, was rather dizzying for the young Tale who was very connected to the earth and stones that was usually beneath his feet. This connection seemed to have grown since his travels away from home and his growth.

Deeper, but still obvious. "Melly!" She cried out happily (though keeping her voice in check, it was night time after all!), and chuckled lightly at his predicament. "What suitors?" She chimed innocently, a tiny smile on her lips. The nymph then turned, moving away from the window to give him some space. "You're the nutcase that wanted to come in through the window."

She helped him in if he needed it, but once there she closed the window behind him, drawing the curtains as though it would prevent anyone else from visiting. Granted it never stopped them, but the thought was there. The room was dark then, Vidya moving away from him to flick on the lights for his benefit only before moving back to him, completely unaware (or uncaring) of the boundaries of personal space.

"Wow, you've gotten big!" She commented with a bit of a whistle, 'looking' him up and down. "May I?" She asked, lifting her hands like she wanted to touch his face.

Though she couldn't see it Armel gave his cousin a critical look and then responded, "Aye if ye don' 'ave in'erested lads millin' about then I'd say they're all blind, too," as he wiggled and made his way in by way of a very graceless flop onto her floor before he stood up and dusted himself off. Woo! That was rather fun, maybe.

..Actually he didn't see the point in that exercise at all, "Wanted t'see if it was as fun as seemed," he said simply and finished with a flat, "it wasn't."

He didn't seem to pay much attention to the way his cousin was looking at him and responded at her comment of him getting big, "Aye well couldn't have ye bein' bigger than me f'ever, 'Coz," he said simply with a small grin and then stared at her hands for a long moment before he nodded a bit though, again, she couldn't see it. Sometimes it was hard to remember that she couldn't see anymore since the way she behaved and also because when he first met her she wasn't completely blind, "O'course you may, Vid," and even stepped a bit closer to her and tilted his head down for her to reach easier.

"Ah, well, when you put it that way, I suppose there are a couple." The nymph shrugged, resting her hands on her hips and grinning despite her earlier attempt at innocence. There really was only a couple, and both just so happened to be Pirates. Go figure. Her eyes widened when she heard the FWUMP of Armel hitting the floor, about to kneel down to try and help before she heard him stand up.

Now that she knew he was okay (well he didn't sound hurt!), she started to laugh, holding a hand over her mouth to make it a little quieter. "Maybe it's not fun for you, but it's fun for me." She giggled out, pressing her lips together after a moment. "Kinda romantic, too." By this time, the lights were on and she was standing close to him. She puffed out her cheeks a bit at his little tease, standing as tall as she could in defiance.

"I didn't realize it was a competition, but I still say you cheated!" Despite the huff she seemed good-natured about it. Wasn't it only normal for boys to be taller than girls? Oh well. Naturally she didn't see the nod, and stayed still until he verbalized his okay. She pressed her hands forward a bit, not realizing he'd leaned down and accidentally poked his cheeks a little harder than she intended.

"Ah...oops. Sorry, Cuz." Grinning sheepishly, she brushed her fingers against his skin in a much gentler manner. "Ohho what's this? Got some fuzz goin on!" Giggling gleefully, she scratched her fingers lightly through his fuzzy chin, then continued on exploring; his pointed ears, his horns, his eyebrows; when her hands reached his eyes she was remarkably gentler with her touches incase he moved, but continued on to his nose and finally to his lips, ending a moment later at his chin. "Wow, All grown up." Vidya said quietly with another little whistle of appreciation, moving her hands to lightly pick at his hair.

"Is it still black? Do you still have those pretty flame colours too? Are your eyes still gold?" She was honestly curious; she was told her eyes had changed to silver and that her hair was mostly blue now, save for her bangs. Was this change common?

"Oh ho, a couple," he chuckled a bit as he rubbed his back end a bit. The only thing that was hurt in his fall was his pride. Armel tilted his head a bit, "Well I'll let y'know when I find the romantic part o'it when a couple o'girls fall through my window," he teased. As far as he could see the only one getting the 'romance' out of the deal was the one waiting for their lover to hop through the window. Then again he probably was doing it all wrong to begin with.

Armel laughed at her claim that he cheated, "Per'aps I did cheat. I checked yer height b'fore I came over and stuffed m'shoes so I can be taller th'n you," he said smugly. He really didn't do it but for all she knew? He totally did.

The tall Tale squinted an eye in response to the hard poke to his cheek but grunted his forgiveness otherwise. It wasn't like she meant to do it and so he saw no reason to be cross at her for an accident. Then again Vidya was one of the few people that could get away with such things without getting murdered. He chuckled a bit, "Aye, fuzz," he agreed amiably enough and het her continue on with her exploration of his face.

He smiled a bit at her question, "Aye t'all o'that," he hadn't changed as drastically as his cousin for the most part. Other than the fact that he seemed to feel most secure so long as he was on the ground.

"Daddy's taken to threatening the installation of bars." Vidya grinned, which probably let him know what kind of suitors that 'couple' was. "Aww, that means they come to your door like a good girl should!" She teased right back, her hands back on her hips for the time being. His smug comment was met with suspicion, and the Nymph shifted her weight to both find and poke at whatever manner of shoe he was wearing with her socked feet, being thorough and poking up to find his ankle too. "Liar." She decided after a moment.

The exploration of his face over and her questions answered, Vidya gave another low whistle. "Well Melly, count me as the first girl to want to climb into your window at night." Chuckling, she stepped away from him and went back to her bed, sitting on the edge of it at first, then turning to fold a leg on it as well, 'facing' him. "It's been a long time...How've you been, Melly? Last I heard, Unca was saying you'd wandered off...?" She pat an empty spot on the bed near her, offering him a place to sit down.

"They sound like charmin' young men. Not sure what yer Da has against them," he laughed a bit and shrugged at Vidya's next couple of words. "I was seein' a lass before I left but...Her Da' won't hear of us bein' together anymore though," he reached up and rubbed the back of his neck with a small frown. It was a bit of a sore spot for the Tale and he obviously didn't want to go into further detail than that thankfully a distraction came in form of her prodding at his boot with her foot and he grinned, "Aye, I'm sorry. I was tryin' t'give ya some hope," he teased at her.

Armel laughed at her whistle and the words she had given him, "I'd like to see ye try t'get to my window 'Coz," it wasn't a challenge though it likely sounded like one to the sight challenged one in the room. He moved to sit with her in the bed though he reclined more than he sat on it and uttered a small relaxed sigh before he answered her, "Well he kinda knew about it he just didn't know when and where I would wander off to," he smiled a bit and shrugged, "I came back though. Sorry I'm 'orrible about keepin' in contact Viddy," he said sincerely with a small frown.

Her headwings drooped when he told her about his lost girlfriend. Poor Armel! That wasn't fair! Armel was and still is an amazing person...what kind of Father wouldn't want that kind of man around his daughter? Apparently not a very good one. Vidya puffed out her cheeks, but figured her dear cousin wouldn't want to hear a word of it.

"Just you wait, I'll come a-callin' one day." Vidya winked a sightless eye, grinning once more. Why yes, that was a challenge to her! She'd do her damned best now, that's for sure! She felt his weight on the bed when he reclined on it, bowing her head to 'look' at him. "I can hear that, and feel that...and smell that." Vidya teased, leaning towards him to sniff at him. He did have an interesting scent to him! Sitting back properly, she waved her hand in dismissal.

"It's okay, It's not like I'm not at fault either, Melly." She said honestly, then turning her fingers to play with a piece her hair. "I actually recently got back from being 'kidnapped' myself." She giggled in a giddy manner, wiggling happily. Stretching out, she sprawled on the bed beside him, on her stomach. Yes, they hadn't gone out together in a long time, had they? Hmm, she could fix that...but how? Blinking, she turned a sly glance in his direction.

"Say, what are you wearing?"

"Mmf? Well, be careful and don't get hurt," he chuckled a bit at her wink. His words held a note of concern as well as a small hint of teasing. He would feel terrible if Vidya had gotten hurt just to prove something to him in some manner.

He was amused when she moved to sniff him and didn't bat her away instead he shrugged, "I guess I smell pretty interestin' now a days. It seems to attract all the blind girls," he smirked and shrugged. Armel had recently, sort of, come into custody of a sight challenged young woman though he had no clue what to do with her other than to make sure that she was taken care of and help her. Though that doesn't mean she didn't make him uneasy from time to time for reasons he couldn't quite put his fingers on.

"Mmm, still, I could do better...Kidnapped eh? Well as long as you're back and okay..." It seemed late to be concerned or worried for his adopted cousin since it was already done and over with. It seemed silly. He gazed at her curiously when she asked her question.

"M'boots, some jeans, an' a tunic, nothin' fancy," he admitted casually.

Vidya grinned. There would be no promises made in regards to getting hurt. With her, it was inevitable! Her head canted a bit when he had blind girls in plural, looking honestly curious. "There's another blind girl in your life? I'm kind of jealous." Only kind of. She knew she was special to him anyway, what with being adopted cousins and all!

"Oh yes, I'm fine. My 'captor' was thoughtful enough to give me presents and let me write a good bye note first." She giggled, brushing her finger over the seashell choker on her neck, one that had too easily replaced the choker Tybalt had given her. His clothing description was mulled over, and once a decision had been made she sat up, stretched her arms over her head, and moved to stand in front of Armel.

"Eh, It's good enough. C'mon Armel, we're going drinking." Grinning like an excited fiend, Vidya held out her hand to her cousin.

"Actually, kind of," Armel laughed a bit and shrugged though she could not see it and smirked a bit, "Sorreh lovvie but ye'll always be one o' my favorite female cousins?" Granted he only had one that he knew of and he hadn't really bothered to check and see if anyone else in his family tree had procreated in a manner that gained himself more cousins. He probably should but Vidya'd probably still end up being his favorite considering he knew her better.

He laughed a bit as she talked about this captor of hers, "Well so long as he brought ye gifts I suppose I'll let him walk for a while longer," Armel would always fiercely protect his cousin no matter what. If someone hurt her? There would be a lot of blood and broken kneecaps left in his wake and that was a guarantee.

The ram-horned youth blinked a bit as he moved and placed his hand in hers, "Drinkin' eh? Y'sure y'wanna drink wi'me? I might out do ye before long," he teased with a laugh. He hadn't gone drinking with Vidya yet though he had often toyed with the idea.

"As far as I'm concerned, I'm your only female cousin." She didn't know that for sure, and hell she'd been wrong before, but since she never met them or heard about any others...well, it was the only conclusion she could draw. "As for the gifts...Yeah, he got me gifts." She grinned, pressing her fingers against the white seashell necklace around her neck, one that replaced the silver heart pendant that Tybalt had given to her. There was the sarong too, but there was something about wearing that with Armel that just seemed wrong somehow...

The moment Armel gave her his hand, she closed her fingers around it in a squeeze, grinning up at him, she straightened her back and leaned in rather close. She didn't realize how close, but close enough, she figured. The picture of confidence she was, grinning at him. "I drink with pirates. You're going to have to try harder than that to scare me." That much was true; she could hold her alcohol like the best of them. Leaning away again, she turned and moved past him, turning to face him and walk backwards, expertly moving around her bed to the door, dragging him along with her. Reaching out when she passed her desk, she felt around the edge for the drawer. Tugging it open she grabbed some money she had 'hidden' there, tucking it securely into her bra...who cared if Armel was watching, or that she was still holding his hand.

"So, unless you're scared..." She taunted, tilting her head with a pout while standing near the door.
