This is mainly a message to the artists I commission. Please, take the time to read this heart I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!
[[1]] I usually love details, so if possible, please, make each piece to be AT LEAST 1000x1000 pixels, unless we agreed upon something else 3nodding
[[2]] Generally, this is the typical method of transaction that I go through with past artists I've commissioned: --------- [+] I send info to artist and start trade. --------- [+] Artist usually confirms the trade when he/she's done. --------- [+] Artist PMs me the smaller & watermarked version of the final piece. * --------- [+] I finalize the trade & PM back saying so. --------- [+] Artist PMs me the bigger & unwatermarked final piece.
[[3]] If for ANY reason you cannot go through with the commission, PLEASE, PM/INFORM ME BEFORE CANCELING! I DO NOT mind it if you're no longer interested/too busy/etc, really. I will understand.
[[4]] If possible, I'd like progress pictures (WIPs).
[[5]] I pretty much tell this to every artist I commission, take your time! I DO NOT mind waiting for the piece, as long as I know I will get it xd
[[6]] When you are finished with the piece, PM & INFORM ME so I can confirm the trade for you or something. I won't know unless you do this ;_; *please, look below for the reason ^^;;;*
[[7]] Have fun and please, enjoy doing the characters 3nodding heart I almost always give artistic freedom in terms of clothing/poses and such. PLEASE, however, keep some of the items/characteristics that would still make my characters recognizable to me!
* = If the artist feels that he/she can trust me on keeping my end of the bargain (trust me, I will lol), the artist can go ahead send the final unwatermarked and big version of the piece before I finalize the trade :3

My main point is please, have the common courtesy to let me know if you're going to cancel trade/commissions.
Here's the thing: several artists that I commissioned have cancelled their part of the trades without telling me. I've had this happening several times within this month already. I just find out that I "suddenly" have an extra letter or two, or even extra gold and not knowing where it came from.
Artists, I DO understand: Really! If you're so busy that you don't have the time or you're simply no longer interested in being commissioned by me, that's fine!!! I'm really not being sarcastic. It'd be too bad that you wouldn't be able to do the piece for me, but really, it's fine! Don't be afraid to tell me so (nicely though XD). Honestly, I'd rather wait for a long time and knowing that I'll get the art piece in the end, rather than having to cancel. So, if you're feeling guilty that you'd make me wait so long, NO WORRIES! But, if you still want to cancel, then it's your choice. Just tell me~
Please, try to understand from my POV, too:
As you can see I have over 50 pending trades with you guys in the bank. Some of them are already confirmed. Even though I keep a list of the currently-commissioned artists, I don't check back there often unless I have to. So when someone cancels a trade (especially the ones containing gold trade), it's so hard for me to find out who has cancelled which trade @____@;;;
So what do you do if you want to cancel the commission? Just PM me and tell me! You can just simply say that you're too busy/no longer interested/etc. I don't mind. I'll cross your name out and cancel the trade for you. (or work something out with you if you're having problems, etc.) Simple and guilt free! Ta-da! Okay?
Thanks for reading this.
