I/Me have been changing my job for a while now!^^;; and have managed to take my Brd to 42, The Job has more than it seems, I <3 Brd/Nin a specific melle job that allows you to advance with your main 2 weapons, Dagger(Af Weapon) and Sword(mainly used by Brds) If any of you have comments or anything, Post!^^;; But un-fortuenetly I will be unable to check any-or all of my mail, on here or FFXI for a week+, Moving to Texas >< but otherwise, Adk questions, I can check this at my Grandparents house for like a week or so :p Thanks Ttyl,

lol i haven't pt'd with many brd's on a whole from what i've seen i liked the job myself but i still love rdm's that can do they're job well mostly cuz my fiance is one of the bests 3nodding

brd/nin ummm no thanks...ill stick to bard/whm thank you. I havent gotten rdm to refresh stage yet, but i like both jobs so far, none shines over the other...both are busy jobs and i like that.
I personally rather back up heal as bard seeming all you do is run around an play songs for your party anyways...no melee intended even if you have the unfortunite side of being puller for your pt (which has never happened for my taru)

the only thing i don't really like bout brd is that if ppl don't listen to you if you tell them to split up so the mages can get they're spells and the melee's can get they're spells it would make it so much harder. whereas rdm can just give the spells to the person needing it

well it can be easy to give your party what they need as a bard, usually if you get a group that knows what they are doing ( GC and above), you can give them all their songs with out worry about some one not getting what they need less the fight is going bad or you are in a tight camp spot.

Some different situations where I really do >.>
1) EXP with Double Minuets to raise ATK up, thus aiding in kicking some Decorative Weapon a**! >.>
2) Double March along with Haste spell from either a RDM or WHM (If both BRD and either the RDM or WHM are together and/or some event where there's enough WHMs or RDMs to toss Haste around the PT/Alliance) to help with Utsusemi: Ichi and Utsusemi: Ni timers for when I do some WAR/NIN tanking along with getting more hits in to hold that wonderful hate >.>
3) Double STR songs for when I'm WAR/THF and perform Steel Cyclone. Can get something like this:
Was with Berserk, Aggressor, Warcry, Sneak Attack, Trick Attack, Meat Mithkabob (Was a event to get some guys some Rutter Sabatons), and the two STR songs giving me STR75+60.
Note: Bugbear Matman is a bit on the soft side slightly but still...>.>
I pretty much love BRDs for the ATK, Haste, and STR songs in those wonderful different situations. Pretty much would rather have a BRD over a RDM if I had to choose one but as how some parties are for me as of late...Able to have both so it all works out for me in the end >.>
But in that one over the other, I'd go with BRD since they can help aid the DDs to help kill the mob faster.

WHM sub or bust. and i'm not trying to be a cookie cutter when i say this. Reasons why BRD/WHM > BRD/NIN *-na spells, bar-spells, and stoneskin/blink + your own cures help the healer reserver their MP for the melee. * BRD's strength is disgusting, you do very little damage, while feeding the mob TP. dual weilding just gives it more to feed off of. misc fact: Daggers are a bard's best friend post-Maat. we can't learn Savage Blade. but we CAN learn Eviseration.

I love BRDs, they make me feel strong, and a really look foward to pting with them in bone Pts, in KRT.

^^;; Alot of diffrent oppinions, but the Brd/Nin is more of a "solo" thing, or a BcNm althoe it can get to be a hassel if you forget to put up or don't have Utsumei
